During my freshman year, a hawk flew over the field and dropped a bloody squirrel directly on a Claysburg outfielder before the game. Her uniform was covered in squirrel blood. It was classic.

^ That was a posted a couple days ago. If you read the posts before mine, you'd understand.

I was playing church softball and saw an outfielder run into an electric fence and he just kind of hung there for a while...but he was ok

A couple of years ago at one of Hyndman's games a girl was batting and a bird flew right into her helmet and it rolled up over the helmet and landed right on home plate!! It was really funny!!
Some where behind the athlete you've become, the hours of practice, and the coaches who pushed you is the little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back. Play for her!!

Our second basemen tripped over second base during warm ups
Men forget everything; women remember everything. That's why men need instant replays in sports. They've already forgotten what happened.

Although it has been several years since I've played high school fast pitch, I still remember the funniest thing that happened to me. I was a pitcher and it was the first game of the season and I was starting as a sophomore. I was so nervous that the first warm up pitch I threw from the mound went clear over the backstop!!! Everyone in the crowd laughed hysterically!!! Thank goodness I'm older now and play slow pitch!!!!!

One game to people were going for the same ball and nobody called it. they smacked right into each other and the ball was not caught.

but it did look like it really hurt :frown:
