Would schools that size have interest in playing in a mostly AA and AAA conference anyway?

Or better yet kick Bishop Guilfoyle out and go with ten.
Right, answer is always can’t beat em, throw em out. What a joke.

I can't see anyone jumping at the opportunity to join that conference.

I hope our school never considered this move. I love football, but I wouldn't want to sacrifice other sports for one. The conference is brutal.

I would say they probably send some feelers out to some schools, but I don't see the LHAC finding a dance partner, especially with C. Cambria and Bedford looking to spend BIG money for athletic facilities. I wouldn't want to have to keep up with the Jones'.

Just a thought but what if the LHAC instead expanded with a school like Everett which would actually help the smaller schools in the conference have another team similar to their size and create less trips "over the mountain" for Bedford, Ridge, and BG.

What if the LHAC ate another conference and seperated it into 2 divisions. I think the ICC/LHAC would work as 1 mega conference

I wouldn’t mind the idea of one big conference but I don’t think that will ever happen. And I wouldn’t see Everett or any Bedford County team going to the LHAC. Everett would want to keep its rivalries like NBC, Tussey, and Claysburg and those schools are a better fit.

If it were up to me, I’d look south and try to get Fort Hill, Allegany, and Mountain Ridge. Fort Hill (7x football state champions and 5 of last 7 in MD) and Allegany (8x MD state champs in football) both seem to have good athletic programs. Don’t know much about Mt Ridge. But that would allow them to keep some of their local rivalries if you got all 3. Fort Hill always seems to be looking for football games to schedule. I saw in another thread they just scheduled Central. But as these schools are in MD this will never occur.

I agree it's a very very bad idea

I’d just roll with Bishop Carroll for a few years as a quick fix and see if there’s a match in a couple of years.

BG is a single A school located outside the LHAC's tri-county footprint. In another words it is a nuisance.
