a perfect game is when you do not allow any hits or give up any walks...a no-hitter is when you do not allow any hits but you give up a walk or two

...or a guy reaches on an error...or on the third strike, the ball gets away and he reaches first (I believe that would eliminate the perfect game as well). Possibly all of the uncanny ways of reaching base make it a no-hitter rather than a perfect game. Other things such as catcher interference and so on.

Yeah you are correct the perfect game is gone once a batter gets on first regardless of how he got there.

How many World Series appearances does U N I T have? zip zilch cero uno minus uno he was with the EXpos at 1 time and guess what so was Pedro and neither will EVER win the World Series. Rocket is a fireballer not tall but threatening. He is a winner. Johnson didn't want a trade from the helpless Schillingless Dbacks. What r u stupid? the dbacks won't even smell the NLCS or WS 4 15 yrs. They could rank with the pirates as one of the most terrible teams in the last 10 yrs of Luis Gonzalez woulnd't have lucked one in against the Yankees. Roger is an icon.. Unit is just big ........... tall that is it. And he is a spitting image of Dave Machahahahahaah

Wow dude...I've read several of your posts now and you are either 1) drunk or 2) know nothing about sports. The Big Unit was in a World Series and I believe he had two wins in the series against, if I recall correctly, the Yankees!

Fact even though clemens has won 300 games struck out 20 batters and won a few world series title i would still have to go with johnson because he has done something clemens has never done that is throw a perfect game.

In my thoughts the Unit is better then the Rocket.....The Unit is a more fear to batters then the Rocket. And yes the Unit was co-MVP of the 2001 World Series....

This is a hard call. But, you do have to give the nod to Rocket. Primarily because he excelled irredardless of where he found himself playing. He is a true leader.

He should still be playing for the Yankees though.
