Re: Vikings @ Eagles
eagles win by 10.moss is not 100%.sprained right ankle.can the viking defense have two good defensive performances in a row is the big question?that will be the biggest factor.

Re: Vikings @ Eagles
i do somewhat agree with you in that the eagles will win, but not by much until the second half. with a lot of the players on the eagles squad having time off at the end of the season and no T.O. they are probably going to come out sluggish, but with an unconsitant team (except culpepper and moss who plays when he wants to) in the vikings the eagles will be able to put points on the board in the second half.

Re: Vikings @ Eagles
since some of us are bashing moss, i would just like to add some. Great talent but it is a shame that that he has to dumb {Edit}. the guy has no heart, he is out there for the paycheck and to try and show that he is better than you. he doesnt care about anyone else unless you are a good qb that gives him the ball. Moss needs to grow up.

hmm, i think any good player is playing partly to prove that he is the best or better than somebody else. there is nothing wrong w/ that.
people are making a huge deal out of nothing w/ this issue of moss's celebration. i wouldnt do it, but randy is more bold than me and most other people. i'm not big on celebrating all over the field, but it has become part of today's nfl. to criticize randy moss for what he did and then praise TO or hines ward for great celebrations is to have a double standard.
many people argue that moss's celebration was distasteful and maybe it was, but i don't think that people understand that green bay packer fans have a tradition of hanging around after the game and mooning the visiting team's bus. you could see randy talking smack w/ the fans all game long. his celebration was a final decisive jab to quiet the crowd. it was a sort of inside joke. unfortunately, the announcers and some espn talking-heads took it the wrong way. now, everybody and their brother is against moss.
#84 is the most talented wr in the game. he can be brash and whatever. fact remains he wins football games. he had 2 td catches in that game. no body is talking about that. maybe people will get off his case when he beats philly this weekend.

Re: Vikings @ Eagles
I would love to see the eagles get beat. But without Moss 100% it is going to be tough for the vikes to win this one

I don't believe the Moss moon is that big of a deal. When someone makes plays he does I believe you have some right to talk, but he isn't overly abusing it. He could be worse. When someone like Mike Vanderjact starts talking smack then that is just stupid.
In comparison to a lot of other stunts that have gone on in sports, Moss really isn't that bad. I agree with Austin that it was just somekind of an inside joke. As far as the game, if Moss and Vikings bring out their good team that has been winning games, then they will win. If the bad team that comes out with Moss walking off the field, then they will lose.

Ex-Vikings players have been saying he did it because of Packers fans always mooning Vikings players when they were leaving the stadium. If this is true, I don't see it as that big of a deal. He didn't actually pull his pants down anyway. I know it was classless. Just as most celebrations are. I don't see what the big deal is.

Re: Vikings @ Eagles
This is why the MEDIA has such an affect on us the viewers...
Moss is a punk and I don't like him...but the media plays it up wayyyy too much with wayyyy too much drama. Where was all this fuss when Favre used to do a throat slit? Where was the hate when Hines was mocking the Eagles (I hate celebrations, but because it was my beloved Hines Ward, I enjoyed it...now if it was Plex...I would have been like--knock it off goof! I guess because with Hines it is a once in a while thing...he's not the guy always trying to get his mug on television.
The moon was funny since Packer fans do it to the Vikes for real after games.
The thing they should really be talking about is the fact that early in the game when the Vikes were up 17-0...the camera showed Moss on the sideline yelling at some fans in the crowd. It was EASY to read his lips and see him yelling at these people in the crowd to, "Look at the (Fword)ing scoreboard and pointing" ...and he just kept saying that over and over to those guys. Anyone else see that??

Burress never celebrates, ever. Dunno why you would think that anyway, he is just as valueable as a reciever as Hines is. If not even more so.

I saw that, Coach. I couldn't believe he was yelling that in the first quarter. However, it doesn't surprise me. He's not the smartest person. He is one of the best receivers in the league, though.
