what is the biggest problem the vikes this season with their defense.linebackers in the open field.they can barely cover anyone.westbrook will make up for the absent TO by coming out of the backfield and catching passes for big gains.

eagles can get to super bowl in a very eak nfc. and will, but can not beat the afc champs(steelers) unofficial

anyone could beat anyone. yes the afc is strong but that doesnt mean they cant be beat. the team that has the best chance of doing so would be the eagles.

it works both ways duece. sure, the eagles are the prohibitive favorites in the nfc. but anybody could beat anybody.

i venture to say that the eagles stand a better chance of getting beaten before the super bowl than they do beating an afc team in the super bowl. the eagles, just like every other philadelphia sports team in the last 20 yrs, will come up short.

but not this week. i told myself not to make picks on this weekend's game b/c i have been terrible at picking games of late. forget that. its time to lay it all on the line. pick w/ your head and root w/ your heart. i am picking w/ my head and against my heart here. i dislike the eagles in many ways. i like the vikings moderately. i am going w/ the eagles tho. a few reasons.

1. andy reid is a far better coach than mike tice.

2. mcnabb is a better scrambler than he is a passer. he doesnt have any good wide outs to pass to. so, i see him rushing for a good many yds in this game.

3. too many people are picking the vikings to win. very similar to the green bay game last year.

the only way the vikings win is if moss dominates and goes for like 200 and 3 tds. the eagles defense won't allow moss to beat them. i say eagles by a touchdown.
