bdftbllham55....you last post confused me a bit. To you he is one of the best in the LH? Yet u still don't rank him in the top five oh THE LH? Sorry, but i just don't understand...according to you he is out of the top five from last year yet this year he moves the whole was up to #27 in the state and u agree with that? HMMMM?

Speed does kill, Bedford 27 Bishop McCort 20...

I said last year he wasn't in the top 50 in the state Egeorge. Or the top 5 in the LHAC. But now with people leaving, he assumes that position. It's that simple.

You're crazy if you're putting Simmons in your top 5 list. There were running backs that didn't even play a whole season who had more rushing yards than him. He was overrated and over hyped. I don't know exactly what he did against other teams, but against CC he had a total of 13 yards from scrimmage.

Yeah, I wasn't sure on what to put with him. I know he is strong and fast but played on a weaker team so really you could probably rank Forcellini above him. Either way Kanuch would still be in the top 5. I also wouldn't judge a running back on how much yardage he had against a certain team. Kanuch only had 16? yards maybe against Bedford but went on to rush 1300.

You guys are all making good points, but you are failing to realize is that the rankings are not the BEST football players in the states, they are doing the top 50 College Prospects. And the difference between forcellini and kanuch is, Yes. Forcellini is a better runningback than kanuch, but Kanuch projects in college as a WR/KR/S/CB. The only reason he is playing RB in H.S. is because that is the easiest way for his team to get the ball in his hands. something like Lewis and T. Harris.

I had originally stayed down that road, then Egeorge sidetracked me, questioning Kanuch's ability. He is so fast he is obviously a top recruiting possiblity, just on his sheer speed alone.

Yes, anyone with natural ability like that the coaches figure they can teach them how to play whatever position they want and with speed like that a coach can put a player at many different positions and teach him how to be effective there.

kanuch is good yes, but what happens when you take away his blockers? he aint crap then, bedford proved that last year, how many yards did he have that game? 30 something i think? yes he's very fast and very good, but his line and blockers also helped him get a majority of his stats

show me where I said he wasn't over Simmons?

My top 5 would have been...
1. L. Stevens
2. T. Harris
3. S. Lewis
4. Forcellini
5. Kiesel

LAST YEAR, what part of that did you miss? This year he will be the top trotter in the LHAC, and more than likely the area and the kid that opponents of Westmont will game plan against, on both offense and defense. You did sidetrack me with your "I saw him running with his back to the line many times this year" b.s.
