I guess GURU is a kid too. This is just bush league, and it's asinine. Rain is part of the game, I guarantee you if this were sunday, the Steelers would play, so what's the difference? I'll tell you the difference. Central stands a chance on a dry field with a dry ball, albeit a slim chance, but it's still a chance. THAT'S WHY THE GAME WAS POSTPONED!

Both are valid arguments (sustaining the field or sustaining your shots at a W) but there's no reason to argue about something is going to be purely speculation. We will probably never find out ther real reason so there's no need to charge Central with doing it for one reason or the other.

Actually Guru...I posted that because I knew exactly what was going to be said when the game was cancelled.

Forest Hills invested a lot of money in the new turf and it has a two year limitation on it as Xylo said. I knew the game was going to be cancelled as soon as I saw the rain coming.

The administration has a responsibility to the FH tax payers to keep that field in good shape. A half million dollars is a lot of money to throw away just so a game can be played on a Friday night.

Besides that...you think us Hicks want to play tomorrow night? Heck no, we are losing a day of Hunting!
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

XYLO,
I suppose that if it rains tomorrow the game will be on Sunday or Monday? Move the game to Johnstown or Richland. I think Don might know someone at Richland???

Ham,
Get your boys on the bus and CC and Bedford can play again tonight. I don't think either team would mind a rematch or getting wet. FH and Central can play the next time it is 65 degrees and the humidity is less than 17% and the wind is less than 5 mph and all of the kids are healthy and well you get the picture.

I can see it next year when the field is OK to play on and it rains. The AD will postpone the game because the uniforms will get too dirty!

What is next????????

Opinionguy,

LOL. You got me! I am still laughing.

As for the 500K, I know that the grass didn't cost that much. You could have purchased turf for that and if you cared about the taxpayers you would have purchased said turf.

Anyway, sorry about the hunting. See you tomorrow night!

I'm sure they'd love to face off vs. CC again GURU. And you're comments about FH and Central, LOL!

Why can't people look at the weather and determine how bad it's going to get? The rain is moving out of the area, well the worst of it anyway. As dry as it has been, the grass and ground will soak up all the moisture in a short amount of time and tomorrow night, I bet you won't be able to tell at all that it rained.

Ham,

I am sure that is what "Air Bailey" is banking on. Too bad we are going to run all over them and keep their vaunted passing attack on the sidelines.
