The meet was a blowout. Bishop McCort put their top four guys in front, and their 5th guy got 7th, with Spisak winning in a strong 16:50. Bedford's Ricky Hampson captured fifth place and Chestnut Ridge's Troy Pauley captured seventh. McCort beats Bedford 16-42, beats Forest Hills 15-43, and Chestnut Ridge 16-42.

I think the district 5 champ will be one of the following
Jacob Emerick
Isac Goodin
Ricky Hampson
Troy Pauley

I know the season has just started and I'm sure I missed one or two runners.

Spisak(BM)-16:50
Garver(BM)-17:48
Luksik(BM)-18:49
Puchko(BM)-19:38
Hampson(B)-19:49
Pauley(CR)-19:52
Wainwright(BM)-20:03
Makoczy(FH)-20:08
Moyer(FH)-20:10
Goodin(B)-20:15

If Snyder is running XC, i don't think anyone will challenge him for the individual title. As for the team, it's lookin like it will be close unless Emerick starts to pull himself back together.

After their strong performance in Bedford, followed by their win at the FH Invitational, does anyone think McCort has a legit shot at being D6 champs?

True dat. What happened to Emerick at the meet anyways? I would expect him to be at least in the top 10...

The rumor that I heard is that Chris Snyder from McConnelsburg is running. If this is true I expect him to be the D5 champ while Dean should be the D6 champ. Teamwise I couldn't tell you which team will win, but if I had to guess I would say that D6 could be BM.
