WOW, Newsflash folks. Neither team is very good. COACH, you are a typical PSU and D5 fan. Always blaming it on something else. Are you telling me that Southern and ND had nothing to do with the outcome of those games? That's what it sounds like to me. When will D5 wake up and realize that you are the worst sports district in the PIAA.

We won't get into that stuff in this thread.... I think both SH and ND were the better teams last week, but I don't think the scores needed to be as lopsided as they were. Things snowballed.
Back to NBC and TM, and if you don't care to post about that, don't post.

I am debating what game to go see TM vs. NBC or CR vs. CK. I want to see my High School play but this may be a classic NBC,TM thriller. NBC needs this game more but I think Tussey is the better team. My pick is Tussey 23 NBC 22 in OT.

I'd recommend being there early....like maybe 5:30-6:00 early. I heard they are expecting a tonnn of people in Saxton on Friday night.

Let's face it BigMan82, Southern isn't that good either. You guys have beat one terrible team and one very average team. You have tremendous athletes and an unexperienced line. You will have trouble with a down JV team this weekend. Now as far as NBC versus Tussey, I thought junior varsity games were played on Mondays!!!

Get real these are two good teams in the area that are going to make some noise in the ICC and Playoffs. If you don't have anything good to say don't come on this thread.

I think that the bottom feeders in district 6: Mt. Union, Glendale, West Branch. They could make some noise in the D5 playoffs too abpk2903. In fact the three teams mentioned might play turkeyfoot valley or Rockwood in the first round and win if they were in d5. Halfy they should play this JV game on Monday. HA

What is the deal with the Backyard Brawl shirts that I see all over the school at NB? Why are we comparing this game with a crappy rivalry between two mediocre programs (Pitt and WVU)? Let's call it the Red River Rivalry and class up the game a bit.
By the way, I am at NB every day and have not heard any smack talk. It is tough to talk smack after a big loss. Haven't you noticed the silent Penn State fans the past few days?
