Hey Bdftbllham, I saw the tape this evening. The kid was not in.

About Wes Swaim, it's one thing to show emotion. It is an entirely different thing to act like a total jack*ss running around the field, stomping, crying, whinning, throwing your clipboard on the field, players kicking the yard markers, etc. The guy straight up acted like a baby. Boohoo... the refs. cheat... blah, blah, blah.

Bedford had 47 minutes and 50 seconds to score more than 12 points. The Bedford offense could only manage 7 points.

Oh, and I'm still waiting to see where the block in the back call on Reed's long run in the second half that would have put Johnstown inside the 20. Everybody gets bad breaks, but from what I saw on tape tonight Bedford did not get a bad break.

Give me a break. You can't put it on Bedford because the ref blew that call. Yeah you can go back and say if Bedford did this or that but if the ref did his job than we would be talking about whether or not Bedford's kicker made the extra point for the lead or if J-town came back to score with like 40 sec. left or so...not if the referee is mentally retarded or not or whether Swaim is a baby.

As far as that is concerned I would not bend over and take it either. Better to kick a yard marker than a person too. Bedford could have acted a lot worse when that game was pretty much taken from them.

The funny thing about this (if there is anything funny about getting totally hosed) is apparently the Bedford film and the Johnstown film must of caught two entirely different plays, with the Jtown one showning him not in and the Bedford one showing him clearly in. Did anyone watch the Steeler game on Sunday? On Warrick Dunns 3rd quarter Td did you see what happened? The play is clearly over and the refs have made no signal yet they run in see that the ball carrier still has the ball and where he is and then signal TD. I guess if the crew that did the game Friday night would have been on the game they would have picked it up out of the endzone(like they did at Jtown) and marked it at the one inch line. My other question is how in the hell do you fall down on a Turf field, not one player slipped and fell all night yet on the biggest play of the game the moron that has the call falls down? And none of the other 5 saw the play? SCREW JOB plain and simple.

I've been trying to defend the call, but you Bedford sleuths caught us. D*mn it!!! I thought we were going to get away with it. Well, it's time to admit it. We paid the refs. We lent them cheerleaders before the game to wait on them hand and foot.(Only the 18 year olds of course.) We washed their cars, and did their laundry. In fact, the ref. that made the call is owed breakfast in bed for a month. When we know we are going to lose, we do this everytime. JHS should be ashamed of themselves. How else do you think the program has close to 600 wins all-time? The refs gave us at least 550 of them.

Now, all the Bedford fans can now rest easier. We admit it. We are big cheats. We always have been, and always will be.

BUT AT LEAST WE AREN'T CRYBABIES!!! BOOHOO!

This is making me sick to my stomach!! I am not even going to mention who all this whining, crying and blaming the refs reminds me of.

Bottom line refs don't decide a game. There are always bad calls in a game. I'm sure both sides were on the receiving end of some bad ones here.

Saw the video. You can't tell from the video. The only way you could tell is if the video was on the goal line.

It is a similar play to Big Ben's plunge in Super Bowl XL...and we all know how controversial that call was.

From the video...Westwood's body was in, now was the ball...don't know. But Ham correctly states the emotions of the players. Everyone in the stadium thought he was in...Until the Refs signaled otherwise.

Lefteye puts it best however when he states that no one game is decided by the refs. If Bedford holds onto the ball...they probably win.

As for Swaims actions...what's the difference between what he did and when a manager in a baseball game argues a call? You just don't see that kind of stuff as often in football.

Did the guy punch anyone out? Did the guy follow the Refs to JR's sports Den after the game?

Big game, big emotion. Johnstown...be happy you won. Don't try to make Bedford look bad as well.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

Got the scoop from a very reliable friend who was at the game. First not to take sides but just as a neutral observer.

When I heard who the officaiting crew was I was not surprised. The crew shouldn't be doing varsity games! Not even at Turkeyfoot!

I was told that Bedford ran a cowboy option which I think is a midline option the offical got totally faked out and thought Jaber had the ball not Westwood so missed the play entirely.

Careful there southpaw. People might start thinking you have a soft spot in that little blue and gold heart of yours for Bedford.
