BC should be above 500. The change of the O playbook back to the option attack should help. Last year the O-line just wasn't right for a zone blocking scheme of the spread also the senior class (a few) were terrible leaders. You had kids (seniors) refusing to play if they weren't the #1 rb or seniors going after the younger kids it was just a terrible situation. You have some good seniors coming back the captains were picked already so they can get off to a good start and forget about last year. You have 1 very good soph RB coming back and a good junior RB coming back along with Schrift at QB and maybe Shook at Fullback with whole line coming back -1 from last year. There Def should be pretty good. Green and Byich on the line with Gerber, Shook at LB a number of athletes to play DB. I can't see Craig having 2 bad years in a row. Plus you never know if a RB/LB from N Cambria is transfering in.

?? Did anyone hear if CC is going to start letting the BC kids that wrestle come over there and wrestle instead of those BC kids going to Portage?

ham you disgust me..first of all just about the whole offense and defense of lines will be made of last years starters for bedford..some in dif positions but starters all the same..brett shippey is the anchor and a tank at that as a third year starter i dont see anyone in the laurel highlands being able to block him. The linebacker situation is not as bad as you say the middle line backer will be last years starting d end and the other two will be juniors..but big juniors. The defensive back situation will be handled too with a senior saftey and corner and a battle for the other corner position between about 4 guys..When healthy bedfords jv team was good last year to say the least they tied CC who has lost one jv game in the last two years and i understand that the game is at a whole different speed..but even feaster once played jv.

i think your argument about cc proves a good jv team doesnt mean a good varsity team.

if i do recall correctly:
Bedfords starting offense
1cory rhodes T
2Kyle Divito T
3krupa C
4brouse G
5 shippey G
6arnold TE
7fogas wr
8clapper wr
9feaster TB
10westwood QB
11jaber fb

now lets look at them in 05
1jv
2jv
3jhigh
4jv
5starter
6starter
7jv
8jv
9starter
10jv everett
11injured

so as you see last years bedford team did not look good either but it turned out pretty good..they will now have more returning starters and i know there will be no feaster but there is some kids with some talent in the backfield and on defense so i wouldnt count them out just yet...

haha i dont think you know anything about me..i grew up with football..and if you wanna talk about team then you are talking about bedfords next year seniors there is no big names to get in the top 22 but i guarentee a successful season and i meant that if individuals played well in jv when you mix them in with the starting line of last year..they will be a good TEAM

ham your were not that good at football BAD WORD. you have no room to critze anyone and considering we have 5 defensive starters and 4 offensive starters returning is actually pretty good.
what on the 06 season we had only 2 offensive and 3 defensive. one which was your brother he is good you were not. just because we dont have "jesse Feaster" coming back doesnt mean we wont be good. matt henry and rodney bridges are just about as fast as he was and rodney is very good on his feet. as you remember football is a team sport not a one man show feaster didnt do all that by him self and he wasnt the best defensive player either. football is a team sport. teams win games not one person. which is perhaps why you were so crappy and i believe your record was 5-5 your senior year. by the way stop calling highschool students, find friends your own age
