I see that now but it looks like they combine D4 and D2 to combine a champion kinda the same way they do 6/8/9 I think for AAA so pretty much the same district

Eaglealum wrote:What a game. Congrats to the Dragons, best $6 I spent all week. After the opening drive, Central seemed to take control up front. They weren't coming off the ball early, but rectified that quickly and played a great game..... BTW they were in the 1st time... They got ball back and scored so not that big a deal... But wow

Cause you had a better view than the official who was standing right on the goal-line....right??

This string of posts underscores the downside of this site. Instead if coming on to praise a team some of you come on, express your immature jealousy of a bunch of high school kids, and throw out insults. You don't relish in a win for your team but instead enjoy another team losing? A game that was separated by 5 points and came down to the final 40 seconds and some of you see it as a completely one sided contest? You guys are really more pathetic than even I thought, and believe me, that's saying something. If this shoe fits any of you, you should reexamine your motivation to be here. You weren't as good back in the day, nobody cared what you thought then, they really don't care what you think now, and if you had any talent you'd be coaching.

I never rooted for Richland to lose... And scores are decieving. Oregon only lost by what 5 or 6 points to Stanford couple weeks ago? Does that mean Stanford didn't dominate that game?

I thought the coaching by Richland wasn't very good. First Richland score came from all running why didn't they continue with that. Solarczyk #20 should've seen a lot more carries. The onside kick put central on the 40yd line. Why? Richland has onside kicked it pretty much every game this season your not surprising anyone.

Evidently guru, I was at opposite side up high in line (with clear view) with pylon and could see the ball, the line judge that marked him down couldn't see the ball unless he had X-ray vision and could see through the player
Like I also said, central held, got ball right back and scored , so it wasn't a big deal...

Got home too late to post last night. First, Congratulations to Central on playing a great game! IMO, they dominated the line of scrimmage, they won the battle of special teams, turnovers, and Richland's defense could not get off the field. I don't have any stats but, the time of possession had to be 3 to 1. They took what Somerset did to Richland with Stull and Cunningham did it better. Cunningham is shifty and elusive and Richland could not tackle him at times, by far the best player I have seen this season. Again IMO, Richland looks unprepared and frustrated against Central. Kudos to Central's coaching staff.

Richland v. Central was one of the best high school football games that I have been to in some time. Game reminded me of Bedford v Windber in 1986 and berwick v cincinati moeller in regards to atmosphere, hype and play. Great fan support, student support... Communities represented one another well. Great atmosphere.was impressed with central and had higher expectations with Richland in regards to diversity. One question I have is the first onside kick by the rams. They were doing a great job with pinning them real deep. But, its easy to coach from where i was standing. One thing I may have done differently. Expected to see more passing with much of centrals defensive play with one over the top. Was impressed with centrals play. Was surprised that they didnt utilize the option a bit more. Good fit for their offensive arsenal. I also feel they were more balanced in their offensive play calling. Great job to both teams and both communities with their support. Best wishes to the dragons in inter district play.
