I knew they paid something for it. The number I heard was much much smaller. 6 digits+ smaller.

nope..that has always been the common belief. My number came from a pretty good source.

Is there PIAA BOD meeting today or tomorrow? Any word on whether 6 classes still has a shot or not.

BOD meeting just ended. Their was a first reading to "Look at" six classifications in football that passed. The BOD will meet the night before their next meeting in July and go from there so the vote was not to move 6 classes forward but merely to continue to look at it.

I personally like the NJ model. 4 classes for public schools and 2 classes for private, prep and charter. To me that second part of that statement is the biggest problem that the PIAA needs to deal with. They can control the enrollment, so they can choose large or small group private/prep/charter. Either that or we can just let everyone get out and recruit Berwick style

When you have more than 5 state champions, you don't have a state champion.
