Unbelievably, and I didn't know this till today, D7 pays a WHOPPING nearly 150K to rent the stadium....at current attendance rates, they may actually be losing money on that day.
whoa where on earth did you hear that? lol
I knew they paid something for it. The number I heard was much much smaller. 6 digits+ smaller.

Re: 6 Classes
Is there PIAA BOD meeting today or tomorrow? Any word on whether 6 classes still has a shot or not.

Re: 6 Classes
BOD meeting just ended. Their was a first reading to "Look at" six classifications in football that passed. The BOD will meet the night before their next meeting in July and go from there so the vote was not to move 6 classes forward but merely to continue to look at it.

Any updates on this issue, or gut feelings? I'm thinking this is about to get bounced.

Re: 6 Classes
I personally like the NJ model. 4 classes for public schools and 2 classes for private, prep and charter. To me that second part of that statement is the biggest problem that the PIAA needs to deal with. They can control the enrollment, so they can choose large or small group private/prep/charter. Either that or we can just let everyone get out and recruit Berwick style

When you have more than 5 state champions, you don't have a state champion.
