The sports world does, if Ridge beats Bedford that makes their year.

Bedfords LHAC record has not been a spanking, one year i believe it was 9-0, the following 6-3, the next 7-2 and last years was 5-5, 26-10 over the last 4 years in the LHAC is not to bad if you ask me. Bedford wont go down to the lowness of the ICC ever. Back to the second question, we had one bad year, and now were getting spanked every year? Losing the likes of Shoemaker, Ramey, Huxta, Styer, so on and so forth is not good for any team. This year in football it was the first year for a new coach, second year for both the wrestling coach and baseball coach. Wait 3-4 years and see who's back on top where we BELONG.

Thats what I have always admired about Bedfords fans.

Unapologetic pride.

I hope they never lose it.

Good job.

Thats why you win. You expect to.

Nothing wrong with unapologetic pride, but arrogance can be hard to take. As a Ridge fan, I will never apologize for my pride in that school. And I do expect them to win every time they take the field. But when they lose, you don't see Ridge fans making excuses and they win & lose with pride. Many, not all, of the Bedford fans are arrogant because they have had success in the past. When they don't have success, it's always someone else's fault.

Humility is not a bad thing. It keeps you honest.

wow where to begin?

i guess ill start with the comment about bedford getting tired of getting spanked in the lhac and goin back to the icc w/ its tail between its legs. bedford has had quite alot of success in the lhac, not as much as in the icc granted, but that happens when ur playing better teams i guess ( who woulda thunk it!) anyway. bedford is a school that loves a challenge and doesnt take the easy way out by switching to an easier league, just so they can win a few more games. ask just about any kid on just about any team, and they will all say that they would rather go 5-5 against really good competition, than undefeated against weak competition. when u have a rivalry such as bedford vs forest hills....thats something u dont give up no matter what. of all the teams to play forest hills regularly, bedford is the ONLY one to have a winning record against them, personally thats a record i would like to see continued for many years.

now for HR...bellwood is one team, just about every league in the state has at least one good team in it. the only difference between the icc and the lhac, is that the icc has one good team, whereas the lhac has several. sorry to burst ur bubble, but just because bellwood has beaten bedford the last few games (i dont even know if thats true or not, just concluding from ur post) but anyway, it doesnt say squat about the league. make the lhac teams play all icc teams and vice versa one year and tell me who comes out on top....ill put my entire bank account on the lhac.

The Bedford arrogance thing is an overplayed argument. It is ridiculous. It is present at every school. Every school is going to make arguments as to why they are better or what accomplishments they have. Fact is, at least in the past, in most but not all sports Bedford was pretty dominant in the county. I don't care why the reason. Although, it appears the tide has been starting to change.

I am glad to see people in the community and school at Ridge starting to care more about and succeed in football. For years all anyone worried about was how big the band is and how many wrestlers are moving on.

ICC has teams that (w)could beat Bedford besides Bellwood...

BG, Mo Valley some years, Everett, Ridge, Penns Valley, NBC did in their only game in history, and So. Huntingdon's better teams could...
