TM Coach is an embarrasment to the coaching Prof

From what i'm hearing, the TM School Administration/Directors made the decision to suspend this coach. That may be the reason it appears to some that there was a 'delay' when posters on here are stating that the PIAA woulda/shoulda/coulda done something IMMEDIATELY that night. It does appear that the lack of PIAA (ref, bigwigs, et al) acting immediately has caused problems in this case. I guess this is one of those instances where doing NOTHING was worse than biting the bullet and doing the right thing. If something were done immediately (right at the time of said action) and the outcome was that opponent won (as they did) folks would be on here saying that TM lost because the referees decided to intercede. Why didn't they wait until after the game so that the players decided the outcome of the game...I could go on and on.

When one gets out of the weeds on this one, its simple. The coach did something that he shouldn't have and may have immediately thought "oh, S#*t I shouldn't have done that." In any event, the smoke and mirrors that we are reading here (fans, student body, attempt to motivate the team, emotions out of control) isn't distracting the casual observer.

I've heard through an adjacent district's fan that this coaches 'antics' (oh, if that's all we could call it) have caused heartburn for the TM school district before. I don't know if he's ever been disciplined publicly before, but a TusseyMntnFan on here indicates "It's not the first time and it won't be the last." So for all you folks worried that this coach will be out, take it from the TMFan who knows this coach and also gives some insight (I'm thinking unknowingly) into the mindset in Saxton.

I do not reside within the districts that these schools cover (District 5), but I was provided this link because people reading this are left in amazement. Unfortunately it was not passed along because of the accomplishments of the players, the great game witnessed by the fans, or the season-long successes that these boys have enjoyed--It is unfortunate that the individual schools, players and student body cannot savor their respective medals; that thunder has been taken away by the action reported here. What occurred causing this topic to be posted has been described all too well, so I need not elaborate here.

If this would occur in the area in which I live, the admonishment would not necessarily come from the school administration. If this was captured on video, there could be a multitude of other concerns for the school district.

Tussey Coach Dave Bailey is not an embarassment to his team or the sport. Although i do not condone what the coach did i do have to say that Shade Fams and student section said very nasty things to the TM Coaches and players. Not only did they call them names, they booed the boys and acted like a**holes. Tussey deserved the right to play in that game due to their ability and coaches ability to work them hard and train them hard. Dave Bailey loves his team and fans. He gets a little hot under the collar a lot of the times, but that is just Dave Bailey. If there was action to be taken it should have been done that night. Every one that wrote letters to the school and the PIAA is just jealous that Tussey has always beat them on the court.

Please look back in your archives and tell me the last time Shade played TM in basketball. I'm wondering if some of the players parents were even around back then.

well obivously you wouldnt think he was cause im sure your a dear friend of his. really? because i'm a shade fan, i will take full resonibiltly for what i said and did, and on behalf of everyone else, the only thing i said to tthe coach was sit down.
