Even if you keep those same teams in Id love to see the bowls scheduled this way.
Rose: Ohio st vs wash (cant break big tradition)
Peach: Lsu vs Texas
Sugar: Mich vs Georgia
Fiesta: Florida vs UCF

I thought these were always predetermined matchups by conference and just a matter of filling the slotskonjo78 wrote:You can tell who the committee loves as a conference too with their new year 6 selection.
4 SEC teams in 6 games! Whether you agree or disagree with the choices its hard to argue there isnt a bias for that conference.

idk about a 2 for 1 with florida but if LSU vs UCF becomes an every year rivalry game i can get on board with it. This game reminding me of the back yard brawl we dearly miss

Lot of big drops and missed throws by UCF as the streak is over. Still a great game.
Penn State also had a really close game vs kentucky. Would love to see both LSU vs UCF and Penn State vs Kentucky in the future. Felt very fresh compared to rest of this bowl season. Also Miss st and Iowa was pretty darn good too

Was at the Citrus Bowl today and PSU team lacked a lot of energy from the fake punt until they made their run in the 4th. Kentucky looked a lot more excited to be there but they may have just been cuz things went their way from the beginning. Couple observations...
Josh Allen is a stud and whatever NFL team calls his name in the top 10 is getting a really good player.
Micah Parsons shouldn’t be coming off the bench. He’s the best LB they got and it’s not that close.
Trace is a fighter and will be missed. NFL teams could do worse with a 3rd string QB.
The young WRs are going to be much better than the guys they started this year and you could see at the end when Shorter, Hamler and Dotson were the guys on the field.
Sanders should go to the NFL. Not because he’s ready but because I think Slade and the 2 incoming freshman are going to need carries.

You play to win the game!!!

Not trying to stir things up, but the field goal call with 4 min. to go....as it turned out, bad decision. Had Ky. on the ropes driving the ball. Why not go for it on 4th? If not successful you lose the game anyway.
It ain't over until it's over.

This is exactly what I was screaming when it happened. If they don't get the first down, then they pin them even deeper with a little more time on the clock. Worst case scenario, you make it and become undisputed heavy weight champion of the world.....once again. I would've trusted in McSorley....like they shouldve against OSUManfred wrote:Not trying to stir things up, but the field goal call with 4 min. to go....as it turned out, bad decision. Heavily agree manfred. With how good kentucky was at running the ball all day i wouldnt want to give them back hoping for a stop

I wouldn’t say all day, but definitely all 3rd quarter. But they did force 2 3 and outs in a row on Kentucky’s only 4th quarter possessions so I see why Franklin took the gamble. You can play devil’s advocate here, if they go for it on 4th down, don’t get it, get the ball back, drive to FG range and don’t score the needed TD, we’d be on here bickering about how they should have taken the points, etc etc. I don’t give Franklin much credit but our special teams cost us this win.konjo78 wrote:Heavily agree manfred.
