They have played together different times and it seemed to have worked out quite well for them.

They have played together in all star games and games of that nature and playing in an all star game greatly differs from playing in an actual game.

All Star games are made up of players that don't practice together all the time. They don't run as many plays...maybe 2. An all star game is a show for the fans and not much else. It is a chance to have fun. The defense is always weak too. There is a BIG difference between regular season and an all star game...

True....But I still think it is very presumptuous to assume that Troy and Brian would not be able to play together. Because of the reasons stated. They are both the top playmakers on their respective teams.

And 2. because the mechanics of an All Star game are different than a regular season game.

A couple things to consider....Troy and Brian are competitors and want to win deeply. I beleive their desire to win supercedes their individual desire to be the "star".

let me clarify myself....

lets say that tomorow u take troy and brian and make them play together on the same team....their skills would be nearly worthless because they have not developed the aspect of playing with an equally skilled teammate, now give them a whole season together and by the end of the year the 2 will put on a great show.

So now we have the answer to the question.

You bring Troy and Brian together on the same team and you will create a situation that would work well and be a lot of fun to watch.

Mix in a transition period first to smooth out the bumps and away we go.

I know Troy pretty well and i dont think he would like playing with Barefoot all the time because Barefoot takes a good bit of forced shots because he has no one else on the floor with him, basically if he doesnt do it it wont be done

Large Man, That is exactly the reason the 2 of them would thrive together on the court together. You would eliminate the stress of having to be the "man" all the time. Each of them could create an opportunity for the other. We would all be surprised of how many assists would show up in the stat sheet.
