Re: Bellwood vs Ridge
The Bellwood fans from my vantage point were pretty rowdy well that's putting in mildly two fans in particular were just down right ignorant yelling and taunting the Ridge coaches in the pressbox after Bellwood had the game sewed up.

My point about the attitude was in reference to the fans and "some" of the parents. The comments in and from the stands are not always heard and cause influence to the players during the game. It is the comments and references that are constantly made around the kitchen table or in the living room at home which cause great influence to the outcome of the game.

Re: Bellwood vs Ridge
I wasn't going to post....but I have to....
refs blowing the game, I had to check and make sure I wasn't in the soccer form (just kidding). The calls in question could have gone either way...if CR played at home I'm sure the calls could have gone the other way...No gunner and Ham I'm not saying we had homer refs it just a fact that most calls go to the home team.
CR outplayed Bellwood 3 quarters...won the battle but lost the war.
Defensive line looked as if they traded their spikes for roller-skates at half time.
Unsportsmanship calls going against CR...come on guys...the two flags were thrown on seniors get your head in the game.
4 dropped balls that should have been caught...
I could go on but.....

Seriously, when your seniors are getting unsportsmanlike calls like they were, that does not show the calmness and leadership they need to be displaying for the younger players. I can understand questioning a call or two, but to argue it to the point of a flag is not the smartest way to go. If Ridge hopes to get far in the playoffs, they need to learn how to roll with the bad calls and do their best to recover from them. Good luck Ridge in your upcoming games, I'll be there showing my support.

Southpaw I am sure they were hard on you guys over there on there side, but there were definately rude fans on both sides. As the Bellwood boys were leaving the field a CR woman was yelling at them saying "At least we won it on the field, you won it from the refs." athletes don't make the calls and in my opinion no excuses to ever yell at a team leaving the field.

Didn't mean it like that Left-eye. Except for the two morons Bellwood fans aquitted themselves with class.
But don't single out an angry CR parent yelling at the other team. It happens everywhere and I've seen it everywhere including Bedford. It not excusable in any instance.

Old school, I'm kinda glad you just collect your paycheck from Bedford and support CR in sports. Cause you are pointing fingers in about every direction possible! I assume you help out with the coaching in some capacity at CR. Here is a little bit of advice. Instead of assuming calls would go the other way at home and saying your lineman were on roller skates and being critical of dropped passes how about coaching the kids up a little bit. They are hearing the negatives enough. They don't need it from the inside of the program too. I could go on but........

how is he supposed to help a kid catch a ball from the sidelines? coaches can only do so much, they arent the ones out their playing, the kids are...if a team loses because of running a wrong play or something, then it can be the coaches fault, but when kids are missing blocks and dropping passes, thats one of the variables that a coach cant always control.
