Hey man I'd go but my wife won't come along. As I said I still need to create more habitat for range birds. Those bobolinks are pretty cool. One thing that was neat was one of former student-athletes that I ran into a few months ago has an environmental job out in Montana and she worked in Antarctica for 6 months. Pretty neat!deliverance wrote:southy, I thought you were leaving once I showed you where you could get a Green job? Come on. Don't tease me like that.

Re: Changed his mind since the election
Here you go deliverance. The first proposal from BHO that I think has merit.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27854138
However, I would be against it if it leads to massive tax increases. To finance it he should cut funding to gov't programs. Just cutting the frivolous pork is 20 billion a year! Cut USAID in half another $10 billion. Cut the State Dept. in half another 15 billion. Trim 10% of the DOD would yield another 44 billion and yes there is at least 10% of typical gov't waste in the DOD. I could go on and on...you get the point. Just these few examples would give the US taxpayers almost $100 billion/year to rebuild our infrastructure. I didn't even touch SS or medicare that just minuscule cut would yield big money. Real change I can believe in would be BHO taking a hatchet to the federal budget! Do you think he will?

At the very least he could cut the Nat'l Endowment for the Arts to $O. A 145 million dollar savings from a worthless program!
