The way they've played the past few games, they're all BIG from this point on. No Kunitz, Neal, DuPuis, etc., they have half the firepower they had last year, and didn't win the Cup.

Two huge wins tonight for the PA teams against west coast conference teams!

It seems as soon as the Pens send the fair-weather fans to the cliff they come back with a dominant performance like they did tonight...

I still firmly believe (maybe blinded by my love) that a healthy Pens team can and will compete with any team in a 7 game series. Sure they laid two total eggs against the Flyers this weekend but look at what they were missing... Would Kunitz, Neal, Martin and Letang have made a difference??... maybe not. But I'd feel comfortable saying they would. You're talking about 2 Olympians, a 40 goal scorer and a Norris finalist a year ago.

Maybe this is just me being an eternal optimist but I feel like this team when healthy...(again... an enormous and unknown if) is capable of beating anyone in the NHL in a best of 7. The addition of especially Stempniak is looking better and better each game... 6 points in 7 games and getting some good ice time with 87/14.

I agree with you oneandonly. The thing that hurt the pens is just their dline giving up break always. The only two teams I see in the east giving pens major problems are bruins and flyers. Bruins are just solid and a flyers - pens match up can go any way with all the talent both teams have

Fair weather fans, I like that one. Have you ever heard of 2009-present fans oneandonly? Seems fitting, since we're throwing around nicknames. Or one I heard this weekend and ever since I was about 5: philphadelphians (sorry konjo). Anyways, what a win last night, didn't catch it live, but was following it oon my phone. I think Crosby scripting first was huge, he was quiet during the Philly series but he came back tonight storming through this decent Dallas team. When your captain plays well the performance of the rest of the team will fall into place, just like it has all ywar.

I wasn't referring to anyone specific with my "fair-weather fans" comment... Just a general statement.

Curious of when anyone accused you of that oneandonly? You were cracking out nicknames right? I just decided to join you. Just good fun is all

Sometimes it's tough conveying or picking up on stuff via the internet. I was just clarifying my statement, nothing more.

Crfball: I think you are right. That's the right spelling.
