Oh by the way Lionspride, one season does a program make. If Wilkens can go a few seasons without choking drop me a note--then we can talk but for now the only words I have about CR football is ........you guessed it choke. In closing I must say all this talk about this being the year for Chestnut Ridge is rather annoying.

You know Goodwill, you are the only thing that is annoying in this post.

Lets here some accomplishments you have made in life.

If it is anything significant than you were either lucky or you worked hard to make it happen, with a few bumps along the way.

Cut Wilkins and CR some slack. This should be a season for them to really enjoy the fruits of a lot of hard work.

Johnson, it is a good thing that there is discussion about CR football. Lets talk about something of substance instead of just throw some mindless comments in to stir the pot.

When does the camp start this year? How many will be on the roster? Who are some of the studs that are looking good after summer workouts?

Are any colleges showing interest in Barefoot, Novak, or any other of the Lion players?

They should be loaded this year and are certainly ICC Nittany Division favorites going in.

Camp starts for all HS teams this year on Aug. 16 (Except WPIAL where they begin a week earlier--Aug. 9)

LOL Oh crlion if you only knew what I have done. I have been around Bedford Co for many many years and Chestnut has had very little success in football (never won the BCL in basketball by the way) Yes they do have some talent but its rather funny to hear how great Ridge will be this season. Hey if they do well this season great but if I was a betting man oh wait I am a betting man--Ridge and Coach Wilkens will find a way to choke.

Goodwill, I have no idea who you are or what you have done. If you have something to contribute why wont you contact Dan WIlkens, arrange a meeting, and share your wisdom. That would be the noble thing to do. Your effort might ensure the success of the team.

Oh wait. You would rather be right and let nature follow its course. Glad to see you take such pleasure in watching others fail.

Nice guy.

I learned something quite interesting regarding the end of the Playoff game against PBurg-O. Wilkins wasnt necessarily the one responsible for calling that infamous play.

Who would have made the call Dawg? I also heard that Wilkins hired two new coaches for varsity. Did anyone else hear this? Are they from Central?

The Seniors. The players. Wilkins presented some options and let the players decide what they wanted to do.

If that is completely true, and I have no reason to question the credibility of the source, then that puts Wilkins in a different light.

Still controversial, possibly, but at a different level.
