Great win for your team tonight... Mr...Anonymous and you are EXACTLY right, that play had NOTHING to do with LV or their program yet their head coach commented on social media about it?? Hmm..Then went out of his way to tag district 6 and even cracked a joke about it a little later “Glad no one tripped me lol”. I still have screenshots too. And no I am not aware of any other coaches sub tweeting let alone tweeting at all aside from him? This all being a separate incident then the comments that were made going through the handshake line. I don’t feel like getting banned so I won’t repeat what was said and if you don’t think words can hurt people think again! He gave his opinion now I’m giving mine. I have no problem saying that is not right! If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything!

Jjones,
The accusations you are making against Coach Beitel are totally fabricated. He did NOT say anything to #3 from Penns Manor in 2015 while going through the handshake line. However #3 DID say the one finger salute while going through line. I was the next person in line and heard it. Ironically, #3 from 2015 and #2 from this years squad are brothers. Coincidence!?!
I've been on the staff for all of Coach Beitel's 14 years as HC. You may or may not like him, that's your choice. But I can tell you this, you would love for him to be your sons coach. His relentless effort to make LV players better student-athletes AND his relentless effort to promote his players and help them play at the next level are second to none in the entire area. That's a fact.
Don't get me wrong, we have tremendous young men in the valley who work very hard. But he does everything he can to help them become better. On the field AND off the field.
We are LV!!!!!

When the kids are playing sports and commit penalties or are unsportsman like, the adults involved, (coaches, refs, or even district level PIAA) are responsible for making sure that the correct call is made and punishment is given. Sometimes we agree with the punishment, and sometimes we don't. Clearly, everyone is expressing their opinion on #2 and his punishment. Either way, he was punished.
When a coach (Beitel in this case) responds to a kid in a totally inappropriate way by saying to "suck his ...", that doesn't warrant discipline?
Then he takes a tweet and tags everyone that he can, to blow up the PM trip incident. The PM trip was absolutely wrong, but that was his business...how? Not his team, not during his game, not even in his AA category... As Coach Foust pointed out, both of these instances are with brothers. So, if a coach has a personal issue with a family, why is he allowed to use his public platform to exploit kids?
Coaches, teachers, and refs are the role model for these kids. When adults have their chests puffed up to kids, and the governing adults don't ensue any punishment and reign them in, then that's a problem. When LV wins the Appalachian Bowl and a video is posted, the head coaches comment underneath is, "Glad no one tripped me. lol" Not, how proud he is of his team or anything related to his team? LV should be upset that his focus is on destroying a PM kid, instead of focusing on his team. Again, inappropriate dabbling in others business and exploiting kids. So this coach put himself in the position for discipline, but will he get disciplined by LV or PIAA?
Social media and social forums are very powerful to this young generation. Teen suicide rates are up, many because of the social forums and cyber bullying, and this is clearly what this coach did.
My point, kids are kids and we are here to guide them, teach them, and discipline them. So as adults, we need to be good role models for kids. And when adults aren't good role models and make mistakes, they also need disciplined.

Coach Foust I applaud you for getting up early on a Saturday morning and coming to bat for your coach. On the contrary, I probably would not want my son to play for him. My personal preference. I do not believe the situation that took place was fabricated. I have several accurate sources that tell me It made it to the administrative level. The “single finger” salute would make anyone angry but as a coach you must walk away from these types of situations. This clearly did not happen. I can see in the last few posts coach Anonymous made he clearly sees that making derogatory comments doesn’t hurt someone either which I completely disagree with. At the end of the day they are still just kids. We on the other hand are adults. I have nothing against you, your fans, or your program. So he had a situation with the kids brother in 2015 and that warranted his social media posts in 2017? He clearly went out of his way to tag district 6. It all makes sense to me now. If he is going to comment on something it should be done in a proactive manner. He’s a coach and a leader! Could you imagine legendary Coach Jerry Page going on twitter and doing these things? Never in a million years! Coach Foust, I hope you never have to come back on here again to answer for someone else’s actions again. You should never be placed in such a position!

This thread is turning into a soap opera. Maybe time to move on.
