The Steelers did NOT deserve to win today. Captain Dean actually called the Jets kicker missing their potentially game winning field goal wide to the left. It was weird. Its too bad they didn't get that monkey off their back.

Isn't it a shame that your defense gives up 3 points and you could have lost the game? Roethlisberger looked exactly like he did the first time he faced the Jets this year, terrible, why, because the Jets are a solid defensive team and gave him trouble like they did the first time around. Incase you dont remember, the first game he was something like 9-24 with no touchdowns and and two INT's. Ben is just fine, with the running game picking-up pace in the 2nd half, I'd be surprised to see the same Steeler performance one week from now. One tackle on a punt return and after one interception the score is close to what I predicted, 17-3. I was sitting back and thinking this is just what I'm used to seeing in the playoffs from the Steelers, QB blowing, special teams playing terrible, another early exit. But, this years team is different, although they didn't look the part today, this is still a championship calibur team.
Just like thier streak of four wins this year without going over 20 points, it doesn't matter how they win, as long as they get the W. The fact is they won today 20-17, and they await the winner of NE/INDY to come to Heinz Field in one week.

Pittsburgh's defense definitely dominated the game, now if they can just avoid the special teams mishaps and get the offense moving, they'll be in good shape

wow...would you like to give some insight on that wonderful post of yours? because if special team wouldn't have allowed the punt return and then Roethlisberger's interception, that game would have been 17-3. i believe they'd be in great shape if they could get rid of the little mishaps here and there

Re: Pittsburg is going to the super bowl
Here's why the Patriots will go to the Super Bowl.... first, in the last 4 years the Patriots have never lost to a quarterback they have faced a second time. Seems as if once Belichick sees the guy, he has their number.
Both teams are very good defensively. Either team will have a hard time sustaining a drive. So, it will most likely come down to mistakes and special teams. The Patriots have the experience advantage and should make less mistakes. The special teams gives a slight advantage to the Patriots. Although, I expect the Steelers special teams to play better this week. In the 2002 championship game the Patriots won scored 14 points en route to a 24-17 win.
Unless Roethlisberger gets a whole lot better this week, I see the Pats going to the Super Bowl.

Roethlisberger will not dissapoint this week, infact it will be Pittsburgh who ends another Pats run this week... The Patriots have no answer to the Steelers running game, they didn't in week 8 or whatever it was that they played, and they won't now either. Only having the ball for 20 mins won't win you the game, and that's what they have to prepare for. Ball control will be the name of the game and one defensive stop for the Steelers is all they will need to defeat the 'unbeatable' Patriots. All the pressure is on the boys from NE this week, they are the returning SB champs, the Steelers are predicted to lose by everybody, they have absolutely nothing to lose. UH OH, TIME TO CLEAN OFF THOSE FEET.
HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!
HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!

The Steelers season will be coming to an end this weekend. No rookie quarterback has ever won 2 playoff games. Yes, good job Ben for all the records you set this year. However, this is one he won't own. Patriots by a TD.
