Yeah, he was on an All-American team or something in Chicago, I think, but he blew out his knee. I don't know much about baseball..so I don't know if I got the name right..but it's something along that line.

Mr. Wesley McCloskey from hollidaysburg is by far the best. He wasnt a real big guy but when anybody acted up or had any disrespect he wanted to fight. None of the punks ever took him on but came close a few times. When it came time to square dance he let us guys get in a circle and have the girls run and grab their partner so we were able to see which girls liked us.

well im glad i wasnt in that squared dance circle cappy, i woulda been like the cheese in the farmer and the dale! all alone! :cry:

England threw me out for a week cuz i kicked a ball into the rafters after a horrible call by him, i just kicked it in the air but the darn thing got stuck! that was freshman year and ive never gone back to gym class since :lol:

o, and about England and the pros..i was readin my uncles(Joel Swope) college baseball booklet on the players at High Point College, and Dan had the record for strikeouts in a season. so he was the mang back in the day. i THINK it was something like 144 or something??
