Just saw Salem's post-game interview on WTAJ. This man has to make everyone outside of the McCort family sick. How can anyone, especially someone that claims to have such christian values, truly feel that this was some amazing accomplishment? I mean, they dropped down in classification for just this reason for pete's sake!!! Private schools can and do recruit, without fear of reprisal from the PIAA. So no, they are not breaking any rules. However, there are moral and ethical issues that they must deal with. Apparently, these issues don't seem to bother the "Holier than Thou" chosen few at the private, catholic sports academies across the nation. Unfortunately, instead of losing to Wilmington again, they get to get their heads kicked in by Steel-High next Friday. Yes, I am a HATER!!! So V-man, Crimson whatever, and any other McCort delusional crybaby out there can say what you want. Portage had no chance tonight, and I don't believe their coaches comments were appropriate. Bellwood-Antis was, in all respect to every other class A school in D-6, the only program with a glimmer of hope to upset the BM Football Academy. It wouldn't come as any surprise to see salem's recruiting efforts go national this off-season, after getting ousted from the playoffs without their state title yet again.

Levelthe field guy,

Head to the Haven tonight for the d6 championship party. You sound like you need a drink or ten. The fathers of the new recruits are wearing actual game jerseys and bonging burs. I heard the LV dad won the event last years by bonging 15 straight.

But I am curious levelthefield...Which of McCort's players were recruited? I mean you seem so filled in on the topic. You must have something to back it up. If yours gonna say something like that i mean you obviously knopw much more about Bishop McCort HS then i do.

But dude seriously....i love the fact that you all hate McCort.

bottom line is McCort would have won without the so-called "recruited" players on the roster just take a look at who made a major impact in tonights game...seidel-omos...lowry-omos..schrey-omos....domonkos---st benedicts----all born and bred within mccort "limits" 8)

Funny Joke! Don't explain what happened leading up to it....

After a BM score, Portage got called for two unsportsmanlike penalties. Normally kicking off from your own 40, doing the math, 30 yards in penalties puts you at the opponents 30. You have to kick the ball 10 yards (to the 20 in this case) which is the same as if you kicked it through the endzone. Sounds like a smart play call to me...
