he went there 8th grade year.
Of course he played there for one year why bother and take a year off? If you actually believe there was any doubt of Dane not going to McCort you obviously dont know.

I also can't believe that 30% people thought that Portage had a chance. I think they were mixing up hoping and believing. You know, picking with the heart, not the brain.

It sounds like the Stangs were in Aww...That is something "first time" teams have to contend with it seems...My question is do they have many players coming beck next year? the second time around is generally better.

I have to agree...nothing agaisnt Portage...they had a great run. But the Bellwood team that McCort played was a much better team than Portage. If it wouldn't be for McCort, Bellwood would have beaten Portage and Bellwood would have went on to win the D6 title.
