Hornets69? i would imagine you play or are a fan of the juniata valley team that portage scrimmaged at the beginning of the summer. you were handled better than portage handled any other westpac team, and bellwood has a phenominal rushing attack and i hope they beat mccort. and sinosky wasnt crying to the refs, when your getting punched at the bottom of the pile it kinda makes you a little upset. bellwood is good, i should know it, im #58 and just so you know, i dont complain to the refs thats something a fan in the stands who's son probably sits on the sidelines all season wouldnt understand.

Portage beat Marion Center 50 something to 6. and the starters came out at half.
I attended the JV portage scrimmage it was a joke. Complaining about portage passing? 2 touchdowns thrown over 150 yards. and JV didnt get a first down on first team? maybe next year youll win a playoff game. oh wait, mccrums gone. no chance

We are pullin' for BA. But it is a rivalry, Desch and Walkers' parents are Bellwood alums. Matter of fact, Deschs' uncle was involved in a famous incident in the rivalry, he went into the crowd and started a brawl at a BA/Tyrone wrestling match years ago.

again, why would i care if jv lost to marion center? you seem to think juniata valley is my team for some reason. and even if they were, a scrimmage is completely meaningless. i suppose the legenary gouse keeps stats on his career scrimmage W-L record.

weather conditions are a part of football. no high school teams that i know of in the state play their football games indoors. and like i said juniata valley played bellwood tighter than your precious mustangs could.

i'm not comparing team x win against team y, who lost to team z, who beat team m, who played team b tight, you moron.

based on the head to head score with the #1 public team in d6 class A (bellwood), Juniata Valley is better than portage and portage is the 4th best public school in my opinion.

i personally wish your mustangs would have gotten a chance to play mccort again so i could have witnessed them getting a 50 point beating this year, however, then i would have had to miss a good game in bellwood-mccort.

Nobody said they hate Portage or is even "bashing" them. Also, no one on this thread has claimed that the ICC was better. You guys are sounding very defensive. Portage is not half the size of Bellwood its something like 160 for Bellwood to 110 for Portage. I will give Portage all the credit they are due. They are a darn good football team but just are not at the level of McCort and Bellwood yet.

Sorry for bumping up an old thread but this guy has no idea what he's talking about. I have no idea what Bellwood or any other non-WestPac schools graduate but Portage doesn't graduate anywhere near 110, I graduated a few years ago and only had like 67 or so in my class. We are smaller than a lot of the teams even in our own conference so to say we graduate 100 or even over that is ludicrous.
