Re: North Star VS. Clairton
i played against green last year, so take it from me, this guy is a decent qb nothing great does have a nice arm though. but this kid is a stud at DE thats where hes a d1 prospect at. they were a great team last year they were big strong and fast as hell now i go to school with some kids who played for them last year that tell me their even better this year i couldnt even imagine them being better thats just a scary thought. i'd love to see the cougars pull the upset, but theres no way they hang within 40 of this team. but i'd love to be wrong here. good luck north star.

yea i think ns had more work containing sayler. green might be harder to bring down, but definitely need to lay the wood on him. even so the have the sophmore back up that's good in the wildcat.BisonLine74 wrote:VAD,
IMO Green is a subpar QB. He's just a big guy. I think if NS wants to keep it close they'll have to stop him on the ground. He doesn't move that well at QB but he's a big guy and can break tackles that should be easy to make. He's definitely more than the Cougars have seen so far this year and if they can't bring him down when he wants to scamper....look out!

if you lay the wood on green he can be knocked out, last year we rung his bell a few times and caused him to miss alot of snaps in the second half. and they ran alot of wildcat with howard and weatherspoon, but they used the back up too and he was quite the athlete if its the same back up as last year12HankQB wrote:yea i think ns had more work containing sayler. green might be harder to bring down, but definitely need to lay the wood on him. even so the have the sophmore back up that's good in the wildcat.BisonLine74 wrote:VAD,
