I've heard things about a lot of somerset players using steroids... I know someone from the area and they say that most of the football team does. Could be false but that is the rumor

After Somerset scored a TD to go up 29-0 in the 2nd quarter, Somerset chose to go for the two-point conversion. After an illegal procedure penalty set them back to the 8 yard line, they went for it again. Another penalty sent the FURTHER back, and they STILL went for it, put did not make it. That's THREE chances to make a two-point conversion with a BIG LEAD. The question is WHY????? They had kicked 3 other extra points before that, and went up 23-0 after getting the safety. Was there an advantage of going ahead 31-0, instead of 30-0. Both still would have given Somerset a 4 possession lead ( four 8's ). Sounds like the Eagles were rubbing it in to me.

Can't say, I wasn't there, but from personal experience, kid that kicks may have been temporarily indisposed. Just throwing stuff out there. My question ,was the kid that kicks on the field that play or the next?

Its not steroids its called being committed to a weight program. They have coaches and athletes that want to win and in theoffseason there is 30-40 kids in the weight room. That is really sad talk to bring on here. The kids work hard and that's it. And as for the going for 2 up 29-0, I dont know the reasoning or why they did it but when your starters only play about 36 minutes the first two weeks you get work when you can. I do not believe they were trying to run it up. I dont think don b thought so either.

We train! I know cause I do it for them and have been for the last 4 years! We train 12 months a year and get 40+ players to commit! That what happens when a real strength coach takes a hold of a program! Please do not taint the hard work , dedication, and commitment these athletes have put in! Hard work pays and we live by that !
