I did a rough count, I think there are 20 schools with both teams still playing, 9 got double-headers. It's not ideal, but at least they got some schools staying together.

I hope the venues hosting the games charge for each game separately, isn't that the incentive for hosting games to begin with? Its not fair that some fans get to see 2 games from their respective schools for the price of 1 ticket, while fans of other schools get to see 1 game only and not even have an option to pay for a ticket to see the other team from their school. Whoever allowed these arrangements just took a bunch of money out of the host schools pockets. Not to smart, this is how controversy starts.

I know when Tyrone's boys played at Central and the girls were at home the same night D6 allowed those coming from the boys game in free to see the girls with their stub from the boys game.

I think with this is a pretty unique circumstance with all 96 games being played in one day after 2 straight snow cancellations, I don't think there's much they can do about it. They need to get the games in somehow, I'm sure people are understanding of that.

I know District Six allows you to attend two different games if your school is in different gyms, but I'm not sure the policy from the PIAA.  I'm guessing most schools with their teams split up won't be able to attend both because of travel.

Greensburg Central Catholic for instance has their boys playing in Clearfield at 6, and their girls playing at Hollidaysburg at 6:30, it's not possible to make both games.

Yeah I knew it didn't help in this situation. I was just throwing it out there. I think the reason they went ahead and made the KC switch is because both teams were already playing at D9 sites and it was just a simple swap.

Several games have been pushed back to Friday. None affecting D5 or D6 teams however. There will also be Sunday games this weekend for the winners!

OLSH 60
Bishop McCort 55

OLSH led most of the game, McCort came back and was up 6 with 2 minutes to go and lost. It was a really good game.

Not saying your wrong necessarily but this isn't something new. They have done this for several decades....
