A couple of things stood out at todays BMCHS vs FHPHS match.  The first, nobody had to pay to enter the hallowed gates of Point Stadium.  Second, Anthony Walters in street clothes.  Scuttlebutt says he had a hernia operation, but does this mean he misses 4-5 games, and risks re-injury when he already has a deal with Drexel for wrestling?

Score-wise, Rangers 2-1.  Could've been 3-1, but for a dropped pass in the EZ.  BMCHS scored on their first play from scrimmage, the QB made one heluva fake drawing 3-4 tacklers, and the ball went the other way the distance for the TD.  Rangers D bent but didn't break after that.  Both JV went scoreless, and both need a lot of work.  No major injuries noted, though one BMCHS kid was down for a few min., could've beezn a cramp?  I calls 'em like I sees 'em.

I agree with Manfred, McCort struggled in pass defense but they also had all three starting LBS out Walters and Ardary were injured and Phillips played safety. Long looked real good for FH
McCorts line looked much stronger than FH, for me personally with Walter's in there and that line mccort would've controlled and dictated the pace. I.think mccort turned it up when the chains came out

Everett has never even been relevant. The only goals set there is a 5 win season. You guys are mediocre at best. At least people talk about Htown i haven't heard about everett since 'Nam

Why do you guys play into bearcatfans bs? He is not even a bearcat fan. Hes a kid from another town fishing for drama. I dont know why he chooses to bring negativity to htown and not his home team. Just like most other teams around many people have worked very hard for many years to bring success and respectability to our school. Yet let some kid from another town who does not even play jump on here and run his mouth and everyone plays right along. We are a successful program that has ups and downs. We compete always and respect our opponents even if we do not like them! Our current players might need some humbling but you all know how life will teach you that the hard way. Good luck to all local teams and quit making bearcatfan12 relevant.
