USF has 1 win vs a team with a winning record....Stony Brook. They are 9-2 and ranked because they play the same garbage that UCF has played.

The worst SOS rankings in the current AP top 25...

1. USF
2. UCF
3. Memphis

Not denything their schedule are weal but there is an illusion that power 5 teams automatically are just amazing godsenders.

Bottom power 5 teams arent much better than bottom group of 5 teams.

But ignoring power 5 teams losses its annoying.

Ohio State lost to 31 to Iowa... IOWA!!!!!

Syracuse Beat clemson... A 4-8 syracuse team who lost to middle tennesee state.

Miami lost to Pitt... 5-7 team.

Iowa state took out both OU and TCU and they are 7-5 on the season.

This year is a bit different because so many top teams have horrible losses on their record but also quality wins.

I know we keep going back and forth about UCF’s “schedule” but I will stand by the fact that it is absolute garbage and probably 15-20 power 5 conference teams would have went undefeated with their schedule.

Yeah those teams don't have the benefit of prepping for cupcakes week in and week out. Everyone having similar losses goes to show just how hard it is to play a power 5 schedule. I see ur argument but the truth is there is a reason they aren't even in the conversation.

Man i look at that first two weeks for alabama and it just reminds me how little class ranks mean... The one with 3 top 6 ranked recruitment classes is 5-6 barely going to make a bowl game while fresno, whose classes are all higher than 70, is now alabamas best non conference opponent...

Florida State could very well beat Fresno State and it would shock nobody.

You don't need to have all top 10 recruiting classes to be a great team, but it makes life a lot easier if you have better recruiting classes.

It would surprise me but your statement is 100% true about recruiting classes. You guys are entitled and arent wrong in your opinions either.

I would just rather a questionable undefeated team in the 4 team playoff than a 2 loss team or non conference champion thats also questionable. I dont want a repeat last year of a non conference champion getting in only to be blown out.

If it were me i would have a 16 team playoff.

All 10 conference champions make it and 6 atlarge teams. Then you can avoid this BS arguement because everyone thought the big 10 was amazing last year but when it came to bowls they were almost the worst of power 5 conferences
