However, they have given up 20 plus in 2 of there 3 playoff games and 3 of the last 5 games overall. I am not exactly sure how you consider that shutdown defense. AND..The Hornets have more talent on offense than any of the teams in those last 5 in my opinion. I will stick with my original post that JV wins this one.....
Have you watched those playoff games.. you’d understand. What I mean..
Have you watched JV?
Just the Bellwood game, 1s a great ball player, line didn’t impress me, backs are okay

Your opinion makes sense then. However, much like United isn’t the same team they were the first few weeks, JV isn’t either.

United was picked by many to finish 2nd in the Heritage this year.  Great QB, big line, and a good running back.  They came out of the gate playing very poorly.  Why?  I don't know.  But they have righted the ship and are the team that many believed they should have been.  Never saw JV play so I can't comment on them.  But as a fan of the Heritage, am hoping for a United win.

In my opinion District 6 is nowhere near what is was last year so its going to be a tough game but I also think JV will win from what I've seen.

I don’t really remember anyone picking united to be second in the conference. It was either Northern Cambria or West Shamokin. United was being picked middle of the pack by almost everyone that I remember. United has had a great year. Their kids and coaching staff deserve a ton to credit. Good luck to them today!

That's a scary thought, given how badly Jeannette dominated Homer in Hershey, Tough to argue that Single A has more solid teams this year.  Just about all of the play-off games have been one score games except for BG and Homer.
If JV has a passing game that is comparable to Saltsburg they'll have a shot.  The Saltsburg QB threw for over 2,000 yards not sure if JV has someone like that.  United's front 7 on D is very good for Single A.  Their secondary has had some issues.  The other part of the United D that is just as important tonight is their Offensive ground and pound philosophy.  The JV O can't score if they aren't on the field.
My prediction... If JV throws for over 225, they win.  If not, I'll take United

I concur for A this year, across all but D7/D10. Most of the talent has been at AA. Though it has made this years D6 playoffs probably the most exciting in a long time because of how even everyone was, instead of running into a juggernaught.

As I predicted the Hornets got it done. Well deserved JV.. congrats. Doubters kept doubting but you kept proving them wrong. Two years in a row now they took out the best A team the Heritage could throw at them. I would hope everyone on here would be wishing them luck respresenting D6 from here on out...
