Somerset gave up 100 to middle of the pack Westmont last night. When is one of the largest schools in the conference going to put their foot in the ground to say enough is enough. The effort level from coaches and players is abysmal. 3-10 with doom and gloom down the stretch. Hardly beating 3 smaller schools with a combined record of 12-26. It's pathetic. Is there no pride in Somerset? Just politics? It's always the same names coaching and the same results. Football and basketball are just unwatchable. Least they get their pictures in their own newspaper....LGR!

I think the top four teams now will be the top 4 at the end, but Westmont, Richland, and Forest Hills still have some life. If Westmont can pick off either BG or Johnstown next week, and Penn Cambria loses to BG on Monday, then it'll get a little more interesting.

Richland plays McCort and Somerset next week. both very winnable, but the McCort game will be tricky with it being a rivalry/packed gym etc. But if they survive that, they could be 8-5 by this time next week, though their schedule is brutal after that playing the top four teams all in a row.

The unbalanced schedule is brutal. League and district rankings can be greatly impacted by the 'luck' of the draw.
