Without a doubt Pitt is far ahead of Penn State in football and basketball. Look at the last 5 years and there is no comparison. I do not want to hear about who Penn State is getting next season in basketball or any of that other crapola. There Basketball is in a sad situation and I dont see them any time soon even being close to Pitt in basketball. I dont care what JUCo players or how many starters they have coming back. PITT basketball is miles ahead of Penn State and that will not change anytime soon.

pitt is better than psu in bball and should be for a while. psu will be more entertaining tho. what the people call "eddie ball" is what east tennessee state played in the tournament this year. that was an exciting game they had w/ cincinati. up and down the court w/ tim smith making all kinds of plays. i AM "ready for eddie" and looking forward to watching some psu hoops next year when there will be some athletes that can play in that type of system. i am also looking forward to some good naps next season anytime i try to watch pitt play. BORING

the Pitt football program is not miles ahead of PSU's by any stretch of the imagination. I wont elaborate but i gurantee that the lions will be right among the top notch teams this season.

im as psu as it gets in football, but psu wont be a top notch program. they will be a bowl team this year, and a decet contender following thanks to the great recruiting. pitts isnt that good or much better than psu right now that fitzgerald is gone. the difference is that psu plays in the big ten, and pitt is still a part of the decrepit Big Least.

It will definately be the decrepid "Big Least" in football next year. That is one of the worst conferences i've seen. In basketball, it's going to be the toughest conference. I believe it'll even be tougher than the ACC. They add a few really good basketball schools.

I think Marquette and Depaul will be joining along with Cincinnati and Louisville.

Oh yeah, they made the NCAA tournament. I guess you consider that nothing since you are the best at everything you've ever done. I'm sorry I forgot we have people like you on here that don't see anything an accomplishment besides a national championship.
