Danzinger can do good funny stuff, but he falls flat here mainly because I don't think many people understand it because of the ironic way he intends it to be construed.Believe me, he's not making fun of blacks but he's garbled his message. At any rate, it's, a piece of crap.

Southpaw, I agree with the unfortunate Uncle Tom designation of black conservatives -- but a lot of that, unfortunately, comes from various liberal black individuals and groups themselves. At any rate, it's certainly a double-standard.

Southpaw, if the media is as biased as you believe, why wasn't it all over the news when Alan Keyes, a REPUBLICAN senator, called homosexuals selfish hedonists? According to you, it should have been since they are just looking to take down the Republican party from the inside.

Southpaw I agree with everything you said in the last post. The cartoon was tasteless, demeaning, and racist. I also agree with you that african-american conservatives are labeled as Uncle Toms. This is unfortunate.

I think we need to get away from all the name calling, labeling, and stereotyping. Let us argue ideas honestly.

What could the media say about Alan Keyes that would possibly hurt him?

Keyes was a candidate for the Senate race in Illinois. I lost a lot of respect for Keyes when he turned "carpetbagger" to run. He was all over Hillary for doing it in New York. He's a hypocrit in my book.

Dawg is right. He was down 40 points in the Senate race and the Media did give it 100 times more attention than they did the Condi cartoon. I saw no major media outlets even mention it except Fox.

Was this carton ever published in the New York Times or any other publicaton???? Was it just on the web site?

Again, I think the cartoon is in poor taste. However where was the outrage when Neil Cavuto, Fox News Business Correspondent, said on his show that Osama was wearing a "Kerry for President" button during Osama's video that came out before the election.
