Chestnut Ridge Lion Baseball
Re: Chestnut Ridge Lion Baseball
crplayer,
I don't care who has a better record. District 5 AA baseball is terrible. It's the same in every sport. Chestnut Ridge and Bedford fans think they're superior to other schools around them. When in reality, they should be, the schools they compete against, especially in baseball, are terrible. Again, if most people talking on this site are from CR or Bedford, Why don't you just call each other or talk to them at the game? Instead of posting garbage that makes your school look ridiculous. Posting about a 10-8 record and being the 3rd or 4th seed in the district is nothing to brag about and I'd be quite embarrassed by it if I were an athlete at CR.

BigMan82,
Bedford plays in the LHAC. They play 5 county games all year in baseball. They play 2 A teams all year. The rest are AA or AAA. 13-6 in the LHAC is respectable. 10-8 in the SHL when you are the biggest school in the District, not so good. I'm not arguing for Ridge here, but you best figure out what you're talking about before knocking how Bedford should play better against the given competition.

Re: Chestnut Ridge Lion Baseball
From what I understand, the LHAC isn't that tough of a conference either. I've heard that the Mountain Athletic Conference is the toughest baseball conference in this area. SO, maybe 13-6 isn't that great either compared to some other teams in the area. I'd bet that Mount Union, a Single A team, would handle Bedford. And again as far as CR goes, they're not a good baseball team.
Have you watched any LHAC games? Have you seen the likes of Richland, Forest Hills, Central? I'd take A Richland over Mount Union. Bedford has 4 and even sometimes 5 sophomores in thier line-up on a gamely basis. I'd hope that a team like Mount Union would be able to handle a team that only fields 2 seniors on gameday. I guess nothing is good enough for you Mount Union people though, you're good at one sport, so I guess that makes you complete and total experts at it all the time right? At least in baseball anyway. Ridge isn't bad, they have great individual players on thier team, getting them to play well together and field as a team would be the number one thing that needed changed.
BTW, this is BleacherCoaches, a site developed for people to discuss sports of all kinds, from elementary up through the professional level. Opinions vary, people like to follow thier teams, and talk them up everyonce and a while. What Ridge does indeed gets old everyonce and a while, but then again, so does hearing about how great MU is in one sport.
