plex was only thier downfield threat...and who's he with now? i don't even know...i haven't heard even how he's doing... Hines Ward is their best reciever hands down, and Randle El is doing a great job with the down field threat so far...

oh aight....well plex was still a big part of their offense, apparently not as big of a part as i thought though. yeah and i was wondering the same thing, i have NO idea where Plex is at. ha i know they picked up the niner's top w.r. and he's now like their # 4 reciever.....Go Niner's.

he's the the steelers # 3 guy and he is a very solid receiver, plax is in NY with eli manning, and that team has some issues, young QB, shaky o-line just to start, other then that i dunno.

yeah i'd like to see him do good even though he's not w/ the niner's anymore....i think we know how the niner's last top reciever did after he left them (Owens)....

Miller, you may be anti Steelers, but they're really good. I hate the USC Trojans football team, but they're really good. They have good wideouts, a good QB, a decent defense, and are just flat out good. They have a favorable slate to go undefeated, and playing at the Rose Bowl (UCLA's home stadium) for the national title is practically home field advantage with a month to prepare. They won't lose.

But on Steelers football, they are really, really good this year (still), and have managed to do just as well without Plexico Burress. They still have over 200 passing yards per game, they still a RB gaining over 100 yards a game, and they still have a tough defense. All that said, the Patriots will still beat them if they still have the spark like last year, which is to note that they are the national champions until somebody else wins the Super Bowl. I don't care that the Patriots lost to the Panthers. In fact, being a Steelers fan, I was hoping the Patriots would beat the Panthers, as much as I hate the Pats. That's because the Patriots, after losing a football game, are going to look back, see where they went wrong, and play twice as well. They learn from losses, and they use the losses to make them a better team. That's why I'm really worried with the Pats coming off of a loss. If the Pats won, I would think the Steelers might be able to win, but since they didn't, I don't know if Pittsburgh has much of a chance.

So just because the Pats lost this week, they are going to dominate the Steelers? Where was their offense today? 10 points is all that Super Tom Brady put up on the board, and Delhomme scored one for NE throwing the ball, literally, right to Vrabel and he waltzed into the endzone.

Incase you haven't noticed, Tennessee put up 23 on the vaunted Ravens D today, and a measly 7 vs. the black and gold. And here, I thought, that Ed Reed and Ray "The Knife" Lewis were the holders of the best D in the NFL.

Pittsburgh went into Houston today, and took control of the game from the opening posession. Any win on the road is huge in the NFL, and to be able to dominate from the get go, is rather impressive.

The play calling for Roethlisberger this year is much more open and free, and Whisenhunt has alot more faith in his 2nd year QB. The game Sunday will be close, but the D will keep C. Dillion in check, and force Brady to try to eat the Steelers secondary appart, while trying to avoid the blitz(which brought down Carr today 8 times).
