I'm happy that penn cambria has won their first three games, it's definitely an improvement over their record from last year. but the thing is, when you beat teams who usually aren't any good you can't start counting your chickens before they hatch. when they beat a team like bedford, BC, FH or BMC then i'll be impressed, till then, they're an average team winning against under average teams.
The important thing is this, to be willing to sacrifice at any time what you are, for what you could become.

Johnstown sucked before the appearance of Larod. They had NO winning seasons for many, many years before he showed up. Now that he is gone, things are sinking fast.... CC is usually tough year in and year out. BUT where were all their 7-8 wins seasons??? In 1995 they went 9-0, I believe. Not close to that since, on a regular basis.

moldy, ask anyone thats ever suited up against the red devils and see if they think that CC is usually a good team or not? the reason they dont have 7-8 wins every year is becuase they usually play an incredibly strong schedule (carroll, mccort, forrest hills) why do you think they beat bedford last year in the playoffs at 6-3? CC is alot better than their record shows.

as far as jtown...theyve been decent without larod, but nothing to really write about

Gunner: You come on here with statements like Johnstown and CC usually have 7-8 win seasons, AND IT AIN'T SO!!!!!. I even said CC is usually tough, but 7-8 win seasons????? C'mon. If you're gonna say things that aren't true, someone's gonna call you on it.

Back to the story at hand, who sits on the ball with 1 min left on the 2 yard line? I would have nailed my prediction right had they punched it in and booted the extra point through.

PC did tonight what I thought FH got away from early in the game last week, they kept in their big set and basically tried to run the ball down Bedford's throats. It worked, for 2 drives. Then the big defensive changes came through, and Bedford played solidly after that from there on out. Cory Miller notched his first T.D. on the year to start the scoring off for the Bisons. The drive was set up by a Derrick Harris INT on a 3rd and 7 play. PC battled back and scored but could not convert the 2 point play and trailed 7-6. From there on out, it was the John Aaron show. He scored 3 t.d.'s, and all were over 25+ yards. The score at the half was 14-12 and that was as close as PC would be all night. Great game upfront again for the Blue and White. Matt Fmura played an excellent game on both sides of the ball. Cory Miller keeps improving from week to week on the defensive side of the ball. Ford seemed to run the ball with a purpose tonight, something that he had lacked prior to this week(he showed some @ FH, and I believe that's the game that will really turn his running and reading ability around). Well played on both ends of the ball tonight.

CC travels to Bedford next week, and we all know how the last match-up went. I wouldn't want to be a Red Devil come Friday night...
