Re: Upperweights
What about Adrian Ritchey,i mean he did go to states last year and after the matches between him and Miller last year,he's definatly looking for revenge.
True..Adrian is good...So is Miller.. All three are about equal in my mind..who do u think would win THIS year between Lepley and Miller/Ritchey? Any thoughts on those matches..After lifting all summer and wrestling in a few tourneys, think there will be a good bit of improvement in Lepley? Or still about equal?

Re: Upperweights
will they even be at the same weight? what weight is miller wrestling? Ritchey is probably wrestling 215. last year lepley was really slow, but he could be better.

Re: Upperweights
When discussing some of the better upperweights in District 5, I think you have to include Kensinger, Lepley, Ritchey, Miller, Horner, and others. You could pretty much throw a blanket over these guys--they are all quality wrestlers. I look for big things from Ritchey and Lepley this year. There are plenty of other quality big men from 5 that I didn't post also.

I think that's how most of the upperweight matches are. You have to be able to counter a good wrestler's moves. It's tough to do. With the upperweights that is key. You can live and die on doing that. Lepley is a tough wrestler, and that is what he does. If you can wrestle defensively in the upper weights, you can make it to states. To place high, you need something more. I guess we'll see what everyone has when the season starts.
