Re: 2007 Recruiting
I really just wonder how anybody can like Randy Moss.... I sit here in pure amazement anytime I read that.

Re: 2007 Recruiting
How can anyone from PSU be thinking National Title?? Michael Robinson was the entire offense. He is gone and the O is left in the hands of a first year starter. Lots of WR talent, but it is going to take some very creative coaching to get the ball in their hands. Dont you think that the defense will be taking quite a step back as well?? Lots of key guys are gone in the secondary and DL. And as much as it stinks to say this, who knows what kind of player Poz will be next year. I think he is a great talent regardless of what team you rout for but that injury could cause him to play tentatively or hinder him from being as effective physically. Face it, PSU had all the chips in place last year and they did waht they needed to do, but all the losses at the key positions and the fact that Mich and OSU are going to be very very good next year, I see think PSU will be happy with a 8-3 or 9-3 season. Don't be suprised if it is 7-5.

Ohio State lost just as much as Penn State did on defense, and you've got them as a team to beat. Every team loses people. I don't know how much football you've watched lately, but younger kids are starting on every top calibure team and they aren't falling off nearly as much as you'd expect them to. Why don't you get on deliverance for getting all on Texas for next year when they'll have a quarterback step in who is a first year guy, and they will have lost their entire offense in Vince Young. I think your dislike for a certain team has jaded your view on this subject.

Gonna take some creative coaching to get the ball to them??? You mean like... throwing the football? Don't most teams simply throw the ball in order to get it to the receivers? It's going to take some creative coaching to get AUSTIN SCOTT the ball, not the receivers. You have 3-4 receivers on that team right now who can make big plays. Isn't that the IDEAL situation you would want when you have to break in a new QB? Let's also not forget that Tony Hunt is going to get Heisman press. They have probably the best returning receiving corps out of 119 teams, dude. And Tony Hunt is probably the toughest RB in the the Big ten, if not the NCAA going into 06. Sure they lose guys on defense, and sure Poz may be a little less than 100% just like Short was when he came back. However, a lot of people think that Dan Connor is going to end up better than Pozlusny at Penn State. And it sure as hell didn't hurt LaVar Arrington to be able to learn more from Brandon Short. The secondary is the only place that really worries me, and King is going to have to be the veteran back there. He already has a year under his belt where teams attacked him because of his youth. It's like Ham said, there are freshman playing on every team now and they are doing a lot better than you'd think. It's not like AJ Wallace is a 2 star recruit, he's coming in with more potential than any other DB in the country. They HAVE to play well. And all you doubters keep ask questions... hasn't Bradley shown you that he can get the defense on track?
Don't expect a BCS game, but I think that team finally has the morale to do better than 7-5.

Coach, you don't understand how someone can like Moss. It's just like someone like Joey Porter. He's worse than Moss. Porter gets shot while running from whomever he was fighting with and got shot in his backside. He also runs his mouth after every game. It's a lot easier to like him when he's on your team, huh?

Porter plays hard 100% of the time he's on the field and backs up his talk with his performances. He was shot while he was walking out of a bar and happened to be in the wrong place when a drive-by was taking place. He was in Colorado to watch the Colorado State vs. Colorado game. God forbid he goes and watches his former team play.
Porter has a ring, what does Moss have to show for all his "attitude"? Porter spoke his mind after the Colts game. Did he say anything after the Broncos game? The Bengals game? The Superbowl? I don't think so. You didn't hear anything from him all regular season either. You're retarded. Think about what you say before it comes flying outta your mouth.

Most definitely. Penn State is the most talented team in the nation year in and year out. That's why they haven't won a National Championship in a very long time. Oh yes, and don't forget that they're recruiting Chunk to play for their O-line next year, so they'll definitely be going undefeated.

Also, you'll see Randy Moss in the Hall of Fame. You most definitely won't see Joey Porter there unless he's watching Moss get inducted.
