OAR, I don't have much time to refute, but here goes.
Have you read the transripts or listened to the cockpit tapes from that flight? From early on the hijackers discuss ditching the plane.
The relatives of those on the who died on the plane clearly recognize the voices of their loved ones. As they attempt to regain control of the cockpit, the highjackers decide to fly the plane into the ground. As the passengers are fighting in the cockpit, there comes a moment when they all realize they are headed straight for death. And then nothing but silence. It is very sobering to hear those tapes. There is no shootdown. Just people trying to save themselves and some fellow Americans. I imagine if an engine was found some distance from the site it came off under the stress of being flown in a manner the airplane was not meant to be flown.
And did everyone see that today Moussaoui admitted to being one of the highjackers for the 5th plane and lying to the govt about it. Don't think there is much of a conspiracy here. Just some crazy lunatics.
