Roger' & Dokken'..... posting someone's name on a public forum serves no purpose, has nothing to do with the topic & is CLASSLESS.

i deleted the naming business... just keep it clean guys. And, vman, i got rid of them this time, but the person's name that was exposed didn't seem to have a problem with it...neither should you

The OG will never claim to be a basketball Guru...but since when is being physical not allowed in basketball?

When you are too physical...you get a 'foul' called on you end of story.

So what's the big deal? When the Lakers were dominant with SHAQ...didn't teams load up their big men and pound the heck out of him and use up all of their fouls? I thought that was a strategy...?

I think some of you guys need to get outside the box a little bit and realize that "Westmont Style" isn't the only style of basketball.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

i sent you a message as to why your post was deleted, it was not thoughtful in the least, nor something that belongs on this site.

Ok back on topic now, I'm gonna switch it up a little bit. As far as "overrated" players, I'm gonna venture to put d. youngs name up there. after watching the jtown-cc game, i was utterly unimpressed by his game, where he stuck out like an unsore thumb. he tallied 6pts, all layups i believe, and proved to be a nonfactor when jtown needed him down the stretch. Weatherly played much better, and I was very surprised by his game last night. Now maybe these comments are a bit ill-advised because ive only seen jtown play one game, but after seeing that id take weatherly over young any day.

Just my observation from a few games last yr. & only one this yr...Paul W. plays much more intense D, hits boards harder & gives more effort than Meech Y.! Tough kid... only a soph.

couldnt agree more v-bro. weatherly wasnt afraid to drive to the hole (even if he did get some stuffing with his turkey a couple times) and def played a more physical and complete game while meech seemed timid and afraid at times. maybe losing his crew from last year has shown his true bball talents, but surely 6pts vs CC and 7 or something against WH wont get your name mentioned in the "best players" conversation.
