Here are the remaining 8 teams in A and matchups...
Windber vs. Clairton at Trojan Stadium, Johnstown, 7 p.m.
Cameron County vs. Farrell at Clarion University, 7 p.m.
Riverside vs. Schuylkill Haven at John Henzes Memorial Stadium, Archibald, 7 p.m.
Bishop McCort vs. Steelton-Highspire at Mansion Park, Altoona, 7 p.m.
#1 You will not see S. Columbia above, because they lost, so there goes your 'cred AC.
#2 Schuylkill Haven has thee top rusher in the Country. If BM can stop JY, they may be able to stop Zach Barkette.
#3 BM will have tape and info from Windber- Clairton game and if BM can make it to the 'ship, I think they can bring it home.
Again, Im throwing out a ton of 'if's' but BM is playing well and they have a solid team. After the past two seasons, knowing just how close they came to knocking off Wilmington, Im sure these Seniors are ready to play. This game between BM and SH could very easily be the state championship (predicting the winner may go on to win the whole thing)! I've said this all season and through last week. I like BMs chances verse run-first teams...
