Do you know the other thing that these guys are there WPIAL Titan and Prince sidewinder? They are VOLUNTEERS! They devote alot of time in working with young kids. There are some guys in youth football who probably shouldnt be there but there are many more who are there for the rightr reasons teaching the proper things. Just the same as there are probably guys at the high school level or Junior High level who probably shouldnt be there. So if you are not happy with how they are being taught, get off your high horse or Lazy *** whichever the casae may be and Man The Post and be a Volunteer, I am sure they could use you.

My son is in 4th grade and its his first year in tackle for CC he has played flag the last 3yrs. Its going great hes learning alot (holes, positions, and basic plays)I have coached the last 3yrs and assisting this year. We enjoy the time together and he loves the sport so its a win win. I also have experienced what some of you r talking about it takes alot more then watching the Steelers on Sunday to coach kids. There is more focus on winning for some these coaches then teaching the fundamentals of football. But some y guys just **** like the above post says if you don't like whats going on volunteer. I would've loved to head coach this year but hey thats how things go but I have more say now then any.. So come help out if you have the time and u love the sport its a great time. Nothing worse then parents standing on the side ?ing everything coming on here and bitching it helps no one out. U have no right to complain if your not helping to solve the problems. Now at CC some feel that starting the kids at this age is wrong and 7th grade is the right age. But, not me just pay attention to your kids you can tell if its for them at that age. You don't want the kids to get a bad taste and never go back. 1 thing I have seen that I really disagree w/ is 1 kid getting 15-20 carries a game. Its terrible and the kid could be great but thats going catch up w/ him. Every kid and parent is different for us if my son isn't having fun, learning something, and getting better I would pull him out.
