That is correct....you are almost at their level! Only 1 win a year away. It showed too in last years Rose Bowl.
So are you close to their level and still not on it or would you consider being on their level but just a tad bit shy of their superiority?
BTW, we know why you left out 2000-2004.

You might as well let it go Ham...
I'll say I have PSU arrogance if that's what you want to be said, but this guy wants you to argue this and argue that and in the meantime, in typical Pitt fashion, you are arguing about PSU and having to defend them. Pitt can't defend itself. What have they done since the 1980? Include 2000-2004. Include 1980 til now. I have done it before on here. It just makes Pitt fans look stupid. They forget all the 3-4 win seasons they had in the 90s. Then they will bring up the last game to use as defense. Since this guy loves looking a little deeper, look at the last 10 or 15 PSU-Pitt games.
Anyway, go Rutgers.
Go State.
The story of the week has been Dekker. I'm really excited for this Saturday's game. I thought Pitt fans would be pumped for their last game and the fans thought it was the AAAA WPIAL final because their was hardly anybody there. You can even buy a whole set of season tickets WITH ND included for 100 bucks. Your team has little following Pitt fans and you tend to worry more about PSU than you do your own team.
See the link at the bottom of my post in the sig. Our own "Herbie" said all that needs to be said...

Coach - You say that Pitt fans tend to worry more about psu than their own team.....but your post (and many others that you have posted) was mostly about Pitt. Shouldn't you practice what you preach?

I knew before I posted that the reply would be something like that. I know it was more about Pitt. Most of my posts aren't. We've been in the SAME BOAT SINCE 2004 when BleacherCoaches started. I just wish it would end and made my post in the mode of it won't quit....this is why it happens....call it what you want, but it is.

Sniff, sniff...What's that odor? Me thinks I smell a bitter career assistant and perhaps an handful of wannabes in the house.

Penn State gets no national respect. I thought they may have actually deserved it this season, then they went out and laid an egg against Iowa. Must be nice to play 8 out of your 12 games at home.
