Once upon a time, Bedford lost to a pretty good FH team in the regular season, ended up 5-5 going into the rematch at Mansion against those same Rangers. The outcome was somewhat different in that game. Bison- be proud of your accomplishments. You are on a roll right now, and enjoy the friuts of your labors. Good job.

I think Dan Smith deserves a lot of credit. He took that program during probably the worst stretch in school history knowing he wasn't a long term guy. He knew they would take some lumps and they did. But its amazing where he has got that program in just a few years.

Wow, a Ridge fan getting mad in favor of Bedford. You know the crap is getting thick from D-6 when you've got that going on.

I'm very happy that Bedford gets to stay "home" when they take on GCC. Especially happy that they get to play on Friday night! I'd say that GCC is a heavy favorite, but you know what, so was Karns City. You just never know at this point in the year. Maybe Bedford can win and have a rematch with FH in the western finals

What they've done the last 7 weeks of the season has been nothing short of impressive. Keep it going guys. Ignore the haters and work hard towards playing one more week!

yea go public schools from the LHAC! Not sure whats going to happen tonight in the BM vs BA game should be a hell of a match up between 2 schools that have there best squads in a decade! Gives me chills to think the wpial is coming to our area for state playoffs its better than always having 2 go to altoona. D-5 has played tough very tough against the wpial. I remember how good Berlin did when they had d'carrion against rochester til he got hurt and windber played really well against the Fields led Duquesne team so we shall see!

Not sure the Bellwood people would agree that this is their best squad in a decade. This year's bunch is very talented but I think and EagleAlum can correct but in 99 or 00 Tyrone beat a good Bellwood squad in the AA title game that many Bellwood folks thought could have went all the way if they were A.

southpaw wrote:Got updates on the Bedford game while watching FH/T. Listened to OT and Bedford pull of maybe their biggest win in 10+ years. Great job Bedford! Nice run in the playoffs and nice ride for Coach Smith at the end of his coaching career. Good luck next week. I a loyal Ridge fan will be routing for you next week as I do every week you don't play ridge.

Now this bullshit of disrespecting Bedford and D5 is totally classless from the D6 folks on here. Disbanding D5? Ya right. If anything maybe this will wake up D5 folks to the fact that they NEED to form their own all sports conference and the hell with D6 and their arrogance and ignorance. Instead of praising the LHAC for still having 3 teams alive in the state playoffs you clowns want to get into petty arguments about D5 and D6.

Classless and Ignorant.

But what should I expect from Johnstown people who keep electing Jack Murtha.

Go Bisons! Keep making D5 proud!
Southy, probably the best post I've seen here in a LONG time. Here's hoping Bedford keeps this run going (chalk that up to at least 2 Ridge fans pulling for the Bison). Don't let the honkies from up over the mountain get to you though. It's typical for them to look down their noses at the hicks from the bottom of the mountain.

Anyway, I believe those steers have the shits! But they are settling in nicely. Speaking of the shits, I hear that your relative (and mine through marriage) from Bedford doesn't change those shitty diapers. He can't handle it, so he lets it up to his better half (my side of the family).
