I can't understand why, when there are games like Duke-Marquette, Michigan State in the Maui Invitational, Kansas State-Gonzaga, Kentucky-Oklahoma, you'd decide to watch the freaking Penn State game.

Why did I watch the PSU game yesterday? Well, since it's dark at 5 PM nowadays, it's not unusual to start to start channel surfing about 7 o'clock most evenings. After all, there's NO high school basketball games or wrestling matches to attend yet. Anyhow, I'm going up the dial, and when I reach the Big Ten Network I hear one of the announcers talk about the battle of the unbeatens. Battle of the unbeatens???? Then I realize it's the game from the BJC. PSU is 3-0. Central Connecticut State is 3-0. The announcer then tells us that if PSU wins, it'll be only the 4th time since somewhere in the '90's that PSU has started 4-0. And then, we had to hear that PSU is one of the 9 Big Ten Teams who are presently "undefeated" in non-conference play so far this season, and how the Big Ten is the best conference in the nation. Hey, guess you could say I took the bait. The best thing I saw all night was in the second half when Jeff Brooks swatted a shot into the stands, and no one got hurt, BECAUSE THE STANDS WERE EMPTY!!!!!!

And they will go 4-0 and then 4-50.
