Reguardless of the players shade has, Wade Fyock is a hell of a coach. He'll take all the time and effort to have these kids ready for the next few seasons. The man knows what he's doing. And whatever he does, it's working.

great season by shade. any truth to the rumor that the walker brothers are going back to north star for baseball?

Johnsonburg winning without Grumley is a real big deal. He and Peterson are unbelievably good. For those of you who were at the game last night you know what I mean about Peterson. Lightning quick and athletic as all get out. Imagine having two of those in the back court and that's what Grumley gives them. With a healthy Grumley they could definitely win the west. We will have to see now.

will never happen, every team in the area would file an appeal with westpac, d5 and piaa. they would have to be approved to play after moving again and in the same year

sppawfan you are the biggest idot to ever write on this forum. Your constant dig on the westpac and its players is appalling. In previous posts your AAA team can't even make out of a league that consists AA and A schools. While you are free to opine, usually it is important to have a point; it makes it so much more interesting for the listener.

First of all let me say nice season to shade. This team however demonstrates even more how competitive district 5 could be in small school classes with open enrollment scenarios. Look how far shade got by just adding a couple North Star kids to their team. This demonstrates further why the PIAA should either 1. Make a private school class, or 2. Allow open enrollment for every school. Kinda demonstrates the potential for one of the smallest districts in the state if they could exchange athletes like privates do.

Thanks for understanding my point brigade about shade. Look at their schedule even this year and the teams weren't that good in the west pac. I am sorry. I tell the truth and it is what it is. I will place a wager with you that shade doesn't win west pac or districts. Put your money where your mouth is carom and sgirl?? Districts was the easiest ride to win in a long time in my opinion. Mcconnellsburg, berlin and shanksville weren't the greatest teams. Neither was north catholic for that matter. I do think fyock is a good coach also, but he can't magically pull a rabbit out of a hat. I didn't cut down any player or team. I say what I feel is right and the teams were weaker this year. And if you do take the walkers and pyles off that team, no way they beat ct or shanksville. Like I say, I like fyock, but shades run has come to an end and you can all mark it down. This new team isn't this years team nor fyocks fab 5 he had years ago. Not cutting them down, just stating facts. Berlin and shanksville and possibly even rockwood will finish ahead of shade next year.jmo

And 1 other thing to note is what was said before, johnsonburgs best player didn't even play and shade had the height advantage and still lost. Fyock only had 13 so some coach did his homework.

Shade had a great year! They will be rebuilding now. I see them winning 13-15 games next year with N Walker running the offense with Piles! Hard to replace a Wade Walker! Coach Fyock knows what he is doing n will have the new panthers ready
