So who thinks they blow up the defense and cut ties with the likes of Keisel, Clark, Ike, Ziggy, maybe even Woodley??? A lot of $ tied up in a few guys. This was brought up by one of the Steelers bloggers and wanted to see what u guys thought. Also with the need at ILB and Troy losing a step and basically playing a hybrid DB/LB position now could you see him possibly transitioning to a permenant ILB position? I know he doesn't have the ideal size for the position but he's basically playing LB now.
You play to win the game!!!

34 years old and still 1 of the most dominant DE's in the league. I don't think it would be wise to give up on him just yet, especially because of the reason why. I could see if he was playing and doing terrible but that's not the case. Getting rid of all these key players, how do you intend to replace them? With draft picks that haven't even proved themselves? You can't have 3 first round draft picks in 1 year, we need to draft and build around these players. Not get rid of all of them in 1 year just because they are 34 or injured.

Ziggy hood has actually played very well this year. I wouldn't cut him. Steelers need an ILB. I mean troy is playing ILB. Please you can't say that's #1 need

Kiesel is a dominate DE? Please tell me how many sacks he has, how many tfl, how many pass breakups? He is past his prime and has to go, if the let Harrison go last year what makes u think they won't let anyone go?

The only person who wouldn't go is troy. Pittsburgh respects him way too much and he is the face of the steelers. Everyone I know wants troy to be a steeler for the rest of his career because it only is right

You mean the same way they respected Rod Woodson and Carnell Lake?

Usually with the Steelers it seems like no one is above being let go. Once they determine you are beyond your prime or have caused too many problems you are gone. The problem they are faced with at the moment is that they have too many players beyond their prime.
